Marketside Sock It to Me Crème Cake (Vanilla & Cinnamon), 28 oz (Shelf Stable)

I never rave on a product, but Walmart got this cake right in my location. I had never had this before from Wally, but I had it delivered to me. Oh My! It's perfectly moist and just sweet enough. I wanted to buy it over and over AGAIN, but I stopped myself. It's hard now to go get groceries because I really want it.

This cake was really good. For the price though, they could add more of the topping over the icing. It was scarse, but the little bit there was absolutely delicious! I'd they added more the cake could surpass "pretty good" to the level of great ;)

This is so delicious! I make a cinnamon roll cake that everyone just loves and this is super similar. It's moist and packs a ton of flavor. It's a great value for the price as well!

I received this cake 12-11-25 however the best by date was also 12-11-25. Since I live alone there's no way possible for me to consume the whole cake in just a couple of days. Now I'm wondering if they just wanted to get rid of the out of date cakes. I expected better from the Walmart shoppers since I'm unable to do my own shopping in the store. 😤

I received this from the driver today, who carried it to my house on its side causing the frosting, or topping, to adhere to the side of the cake dome cover instead of to the cake. It should have been carried flat. No excuse for the driver not thinking of what would happen. It would have ben a lot worse if it had been a chocolate layer cake with buttercream frosting. I will remember not to order a cake again from Walmart.

Cinnamon and icing really good flavor. Cake texture was good, a little on the dry side, I think because of an over bake. Pecans were unfortunately sparse and small, if you found one. Iwould DEFINITELY buy again, just check the bake color

I order and purchase this cake often. However when I get delivered the cake always looks like someone played kick ball with. The frosting is stuck to the container. As though it's handled roughly. Won't be ordering eggs for delivery!

Considering that this item had an expiration date 2 days after delivery, it was tasty for a few days but was pretty dry. Items should have at least a week prior to expiration. We ate it for a few days but had to toss it because it became so dry.

The worst cake I have ever bought from Walmart. it was dry, could not taste the cinnamon I served the cake @ a book club meeting of women friends %26 not one took more the 2 bites. Would love my money 💰 back

I've heard about the Sock-It-To-Me cake for years, but never tried it before. The cake I received was very dry and the filling in the middle area was very sparce. There just wasn't enough filling. Had the cake been moist and had 3 times the filling, it would have been a winner. I do not recommend Walmart's Sock-It-To-Me cake.
