Marketside Sourdough, Bake at Home, 10 oz, 1 Loaf

Just love this bread. I keep it in the freezer, and when I serve something like homemade soup or spaghetti and meatballs, it makes a perfect accompaniment with its soft inner texture and crusty exterior. Even directly from the freezer, I pop it in the oven for 8-9 minutes, and it is table ready. My family loves to spread a pat of butter on it while still warm. I recently made hot sausages with peppers and onions and cut the bread in long lengths...perfect. It is a bit pricey for a smaller loaf of bread, but I feel the splurge is well worth it for the convenience and delicious taste.

I love the small lof size of this sourdough bread because I eat low carb and slices of this make petite sandwiches. It's a nice treat and almost as good as the sourdough bread I've bought from a store called Fresh Market. I slice this then keep it in my freezer to pull out slices as needed. Better than Walmart's fresh Italian and French loaves imo.

Well this stuff actually works! Just set it inside your oven and it crisps up and you take it out and slice her up and spread a little butter on the slices and everybody thinks you're a baker! Well not really, but everybody loves it, that's for sure. Do you like spaghetti? This goes perfect with that. Actually, I only ever have it with spaghetti so I don't know what else you might have in with. Let's see. Crab salad? Maybe. I guess peanut butter. You could make like a mini sangwich or something, like slice up some banana and put it on the peanut butter. Oh my Lord, have you ever had bacon with peanut butter on a sandwich? Now that's livin!

This loaf was substituted for the loaf I ordered in my grocery order. It felt already baked and I was doubtful what difference sticking it in the oven would make. I was very pleasantly surprised. The crust was crispy and the center was light and springy. The taste isn't quite like homemade, but as close as any mass produced bread I've tried and definitely a great substitute. Try this bread!

I had purchased name brand sourdough bread priced much higher that had very little sourdough taste. I thought I would give Market place bakery bread and was pleasantly surprised. Excellent sourdough taste, texture and crunchy crust. Makes excellent sub sandwiches.

I was pleasantly surprised. This sourdough loaf exceeded my expectations. Reheat and bake according to package instructions. Mine I cooked a bit longer because I like it crispy on the outside. The inside is soft and moist with sourdough's trademark air bubble pockets. This is my second loaf and I froze it for later use. Just thaw at room temperature for an hour. Once it's no longer frozen, bake according to package instructions. The loaves are perfect for 2-3-4 submarine sandwiches depending on how big you like them. Served warm and sliced, it compliments your dinner with a little butter.

I used this to cut sandwich bread and make small tuna fish sandwiches. They were so good. I like that you can cut the thickness that you like, and I like my slices thick. The crust is nice and firm but not hard or tough. The sourdough taste was surprisingly great for the price. I haven't used heated in the oven, but for sandwiches, I'd recommend.

Really was quite impressed with this sourdough loaf. Especially viewing some of the reviews that were not so positive.. figured I'd give it a try and have had it three times now I think it's very good. I do keep it in the oven a minute or so longer and it's great for a quick bread with a meal.

I got this as a replacement when shopping online was out- I was so surprised on how nice it baked/warmed and the taste was so good I kinda wanted to tell my husband there wasn't anymore so Id have his lol (sorry hubby I know you would've given me yours if id asked) I would recommend getting extra if your a bread lover! Well unless i get it first!!

This is a very tasty bread that you can finish baking at home to warm it up and also get more color. However, I need to mention that it is not authentic sourdough. It is made with yeast instead of sourdough starter. Sourdough does not need yeast to rise.
