Marketside Southwest Style Salad with Chicken, 12.5 oz Tray (Fresh)

Great on the go salad, love taking these into work for my lunch or dinner....easily can prepare them at desk or break room and eat the salad right out of the container for a very easy and convient meal with very minimal mess. QUICK AND EASY!!!!! As for taste these are incredible tasting and highly reocmmend. Check the dates and make sure to get one that has expiration date at least 3-5 days from date that you want to eat it. Sometimes these can go bad like a lot of premade salads.....KEEP THESE IN YOUR CRISPER DRAWER in fridge or on a low shelf to help extend the freshness. DO NOT store these on upper shelf in fridge as they will go bad quicker. Ive bought this salad 100's of times over the years and still buy them to this day. The only negative will be like any premade salad they have a tendency for the lettuce to start going bad quicker, pay attention to the expiration dates and you will be fine......I DO NOT really recommend having them delivered for you for this reason. Sometimes you will get one that is expiring tomorrow or even today(day of purchase) better to hand pick these premade salads.

I love this salad it's one of my favorites. I was shocked to find out they had it in a bigger container, I wasn't happy to find the extra salad toppings inside of my salad hidden under my salad once I had put everything on it.. Please put everything on top it's okay we know that we're not getting a lot of mix. You don't have to hide the huge bag inside my salad.

This is the best retail /packaged Southwest Style Salad with Grilled Chicken Breast Strips. The ingredients were not only FRESH in APPEARANCE, but also TASTE. Enjoyed as if I was in a 5-star Mexican Cuisine/restaurant. The small serving of Pico de gallo, maxed the true authenticity!

This salad is really delicious, it comes with diced tomatoes, crispy red pepper chips, shredded cheese, chipotle ranch, and grilled chicken pieces. I wish the chicken was a bit more cut up but other than that it is a good deal. The pepper chips and fork are in the lettuce so you have to dig them out before putting everything together. I hope they keep this salad at Walmart.

I do like this salad very much. One time though there was no cover on the tomato container (not in there at all so it hadn't fallen off.) Also I wish the “shopper” for home delivery would choose a salad that has a longer “fresh by” date of only ONE day after I receive it!

I have been purchasing these salads for a couple of years. In the last several months the amount in the container has greatly reduced. I love the South Western flavor but I have stopped purchasing them because what was a good lunch entree can barely be classified as a small side side salad.

I bought a weeks worth of salads. All were within the expiration date, but 4 of the large salads spoiled within a couple of days and had to be thrown out. The smaller salads in the round bowls stayed fresh and I was able to use all of them. The large salads are very good when they aren't spoiled but I cannot recommend their ability to stay fresh long enough to use them. The use by dates don't seem to mean anything! They simply won't stay fresh even though they are within the use by dates! The 4 I threw out had lettuce that had turned brown and slimy!

I was very disappointed with this salad. They added the perfect amount of chicken and the fork was awesome. I found an absolutely crazy amount of core ends in it, turning brown. After pulling all the core ends out, I had half a salad left. Very disappointing. Not buying this again. Please teach them how to dismantle a head of lettuce. Thank you

Unfortunately, this salad was quite a disappointment. The photo selling the salad shows plenty of chicken strips both to the right and to the left of the container. My container held literally 1 full length chicken strip and 2 other broken pieces of chicken strips. Very light on the chicken. The cheese was also very light. You could take 2 fingers of cheese and that was about what this salad contained. Very disappointing. The chipotle dressing was excellent. The bacon bits were very good also. I would be willing and happy to pay a dollar or two more and get a bigger salad loaded with more cheese and chicken. This meal is deinitely not up to the Walmart standard of value.

I normally like these. they are pretty tasty. I gave one star simply because the last one I had delivered was expired two days prior to my purchase date. I actually still have it in my refrigerator to return in exchange for a fresh one but keep forgetting because, I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but life is absolutely wild right now....
