Some places call these cruffins. They're a little pricey, but worth it. The spiced apple filling is so good; I wish there was more of it. The texture is moist and buttery and what I would expect from a combination of muffin and croissant. I bought them in the past and keep trying to get them when they're in stock. I bought two boxes this time; one is a gift for a friend. I highly recommend them.
I love these, but I love the cream cheese more and I always order two of them. But when they're delivering to my house, they never ever give me any of those except for one time one out of 10 deliveries I got at once without substitutions and they always seem to substitute it with something way more expensive like the other cream cheese pastries. They're nine bucks and I'm not paying that! I would just like my delivery shopper to actually find these and give them to me like I ordered it out of all this last delivery out of all the items that I ordered only those were substituted and it happens every time! I don't know what they're doing. I don't know why they substitute them but they do and then when I go to the store, they always have them. I am gonna go to the store for that purpose today so that way I can find out if they're just being lazy or they're actually out of them.
Clearly not enough apple filling in these to even call them apple anything. Walmart please dont be greedy when it come to things like this. Adding a little more ingredients to your fresh baked goods goes a long way!
Would recommend but the croissant needs much more apple filling or whatever fruit is included. It was more croissant and barely much fruit. Was Delicious. Great with morning coffee tea or hot chocolate. Also as a side snack or dinner dessert
Good, but not $7.50 good. Not enough filling AT ALL, and definitely needs warmed up to be eaten. The filling is really good, but they were REALLY stingy with it. Great concept, very poor follow through, way over-charged.
$7.49 for 4 muffins. housemates say perhsps better warmed up a little. The texture is disappointing as not as expected. not the flakey croissant breading advertised. save your cash.
WORST Baked "goods" EVER! If you like wasting your $, buy these. They were woefully underfilled with apple and lacking in quality. Typically, Marketside items taste great. But these were pitiful. The item description made me crave them. But they couldn't deliver on flavor, cinnamon spice, texture or even a decent muffin or croissant. These are SAD!
Literally where is the apple pie filling? I can see the bottom dough in bare spots. Literally the smallest amount of apple sauce ever seen and a couple of them literally had 1 teeny tiny piece of apple and I do mean 1. Where is the apple filling????so disappointed………. Probably would be good if had filling……..
These are awful. Almost no filling, literally no pieces of apple. Just a sad smear of goop in the middle of a dry, bland pastry. Insane that these cost almost $7 at my store.
Very disappointed with these apple croissant muffins. The apple filling was minimal maybe a teaspoon, definitely not a tablespoon. Certainty not enough to offset the dryness of the croissant. This one missed the mark.
