Salad is very fresh and looks as if it will stay that way for a long time in the fridge. We put a huge bunch on sandwiches which we eat most days. The dark green and purple of the greens show that it is very high in important vitamins and nutrients.
Or drink them by adding these to your smoothies. I grab a handful when frying eggs. I try every way imaginable to eat more greens. The blend is nice (when it doesn't have too much spinach in it) and varies batch to batch. It's all good though. Always fresh and ready to eat. Talk about fast food that's actually good for you, that's a salad. Add protein (like chicken) or tuna and use your favorite dressing. It's a good thing that's good for you.
I have been on the Mediterranean diet for two years. I eat a lot of salad. This spring mix is delicious and always fresh. I don't think I can ever eat iceberg lettuce again. I didn’t know what I had been missing. I highly recommend the Marketside Spring mix blend.
Wow! How wonderful to have delicate, fresh little dainty greens to sprinkle over all my foods. I laid a paper towel across the top and these little greens stayed fresh for days! It's a lot easier than trying to grow them and fight the bugs who go nuts over greens.
The shoppers need to be looking at the bottom of the containers when picking salad mix, and checking date's. I work in opd, and I don't give my customer's browned salads or salads that will soon go bad quickly. I appreciate my item being picked but this is exactly why I pick fresh produce from in store myself.
The lettuce is usually slimy and if it's not, it'll usually last a day in a fridge before it's starting to go bad i don't know what they've done different to it as this is always with my go to, but the last few times I have ordered this it has came in bad
This is the third time back to back that you've brought me slimy salad. I'm so done with this. I paid extra to have it delivered fast I got it in the refrigerator immediately when it was delivered. I'm making a salad from the container TODAY, AND ITS SLIMY. I'm not paying my money for dumpster quality greens. This is the last straw.
Did a pick up order and the lettuce was slimy once I opened it. Throw about 1/2 away as it wasn’t edible and ended up tossing the whole thing. Yes I understand I should have picked it out myself but you could see the slime on the packaging from the outside. Bummer just a waste of money
If I were a Walmart grocery picker, I would not pick fresh produce that was rotten for myself! Much less if I am the one doing the shopping for someone else why would I honestly put something in their cart That is spoiled?! Repeatedly if I order fresh produce in my Walmart grocery delivery, my fresh produce is always spoiled! And for someone who is disabled and cannot drive herself and I am paying for service, Why not just do it the right way? If the spring mix has brown water in the bag, here’s your sign! So very unhappy when it was something that I was planning on having for my dinner tonight
Labeled as spring mix this is nothing more than chard, red chard and spinach out of the 13 possible types of "lettuce" listed. Even though it says that ingredients vary by season, I find it hard to believe that was all that was available. I wouldn't have ordered it if I had known that's what I would be getting.
