I’m afraid to leave great review as they might increase prices! lol. Excellent quality nutritious full meal or side meal and super simple as all ingredients in kit are inside main bag. Bags are all easy to open and we buy all the time…never have any issues with freshness…always crisp and like you cut it all up from the garden. Thank you for making nutrition so easy and taste so good.
Oh my God if this is the one I think it is the salad dressing was phenomenal. The crispy stayed. The taste was great. You could use it and put it on a sandwich. If you want like I did you can put it inside dish. You can use it as a snack in between meals and it was crispy.
I try to do healthier lunches when I'm able to and this isn't the "healthiest" option of course but it is significantly healthier than running out for a burger during lunch break. This mix comes with sunflower seeds, bacon crumbles and a delicious sweet onion dressing so I'm not stuck with a bland salad. All you need is a big Tupperware container, dump all the items in, shake it up and bam. Solid lunch option.
I like salads but I hate making them it always seems that too many of the ingredients go bad before i can use them up just seems like a waste of money sometimes. These bagged salads are great I've tried a couple of flavors so far my two faves are this one and the asian salad. The cool thing about a product like this is you can add some extras to improve the protein, carbs etc. I usually toss in three hard boiled eggs (broken up) and some oyster crackers for a little more crunch. I wish they'd say on the package which dressing they use this one is a bit on the sweet side which is what I like. Tastes a little like honey mustard of some sort. Will buy this again and they last a few days in the fridge too so you can buy a week's work without worrying they'll go bad.
I love this salad mix. The blend is so fresh and crunchy. The bag usually doesn’t last long enough to test the longevity. It comes with the seasonings or extras plus a package of salad dressing, however, I use what I have at home. I’m not big on hardly any dressings. I am sure whatever flavor comes with each salad is fine since the quality of the salad itself is great. I do wish they would bring back the bigger bags. I live too far to run to the store every other day. Yes, it’s that good. I think the crunch of the cabbage and the tasty flavor of the green onions is what sets it apart from other bags of premixed salads. I am a happy customer.
This Marketside brand is good quality. I am surprised that it measures up to the big brands. The marketside kits are on my delivery order weekly. Tho you'll have fewer selections than big brands, these are worth trying. I like to add my favorite veggies and either bacon or rotisserie chicken to make the salad a nice meal.
This salad kit is great! I especially like the crunchiness of the ingredients and they seem to stay fresh longer which is important to me. The packet of bacon bits, seeds, dressing is a definate plus. Just enjoyed everything about it. I highly recommend this product and will purchase again. Carol
This is one of my all time favorite salads (without the bacon, since I don't eat bacon.) Cabbage is one of the main ingredients and the sweet onion dressing is the star flavoring. I eat this as a side dish %26 some times as my main dish with a piece if baked orange glazef salmon. Delish!
This salad is basically my weekly “treat myself without going broke” plan. Sunflower seeds, bacon, and that sweet dressing make it feel fancy, even though my wallet thinks I’m just being responsible. Add a few grape tomatoes and a hard boiled egg to change it up.
i have tried many variations of these salads and this is my new favorite!! The greens are cut in such a way that it is the perfect combo of crispness and chewiness with the provided ingredients. The bacon, sunflower seeds and the sweet onion dressing (you may wish to buy more such as Ken's sweet vidalia onion, or a poppyseed etc as they never give you enough, my only complaint really) all go together perfectly!! Im hooked!!! have bought this 3x in a week and a half! ** I add dried cranberries for an added chewy texture and the sweet/tart is PERFECT in this salad,(and/or add mandarin oranges if you like/prefer, chicken breast, it's great on it's own and a great base salad!!) also I do add a lil bit more bacon, at least on my 3rd (and final) serving, as bacon is only enough for 2 servings, but don't we all just looooove extra bacon anyway!?! Ha ha! Great side dish or add the extras and make it the main! Try it, you won't be disappointed!!
