I like to add a slice of Swiss cheese to my sandwich and heat it up in my toaster oven. I will usually cut the sub into three pieces and eat them at three sepate meals. It is a good value because I can get three meals with a side of chips. I keep the sub in the refridgerator for storage. The flavor with the extra slice of cheese is very good.
Great to grab for when you're out shopping , I bring a cooler we go to Walmart first we grab a couple of sandwiches. We do our shopping load up the car, then go to the next-door we grab a couple of sandwiches. We do our shopping blow up the car, then go to the next store . By then we're hungry. Then we go home. We're able to put all the groceries away without looking for something to munch on or eat then we can relax for a little bit before we make dinner. . By then we're hungry. Then we go home. I would say that the bread does get a little soggy and it sticks to the meat/cheese so it's hard to separate without tearing the bread to add the condiments. However, grabbing one of these to throw in our bag for a day trip or a quick bite on a busy day is great. The amount of meat on these sandwiches is great too, it's not all bread with a few slices of meat.
I would recommend the sandwich for the taste. It's always been really good and it's my big splurge once a month. I let myself get the sandwich now. The only reason that I don't give it a full on amazing rating is because it's maybe half the size it was two years ago and there's no reason for that Walmart do better.
the sizes of the subs decreased while the price increased by $2. I also find the American cheese provided is disgusting but some of my friends and family don't mind it. I do wish it came with other choices of cheese like pepper jack or even Colby cheese. but that said it is a go-to when need it and certain sub options are available
I ordered and received it. unfortunately, the sandwich was not even cool. I don't know how long it was out of The refrigerator but it definitely was warmer than room temperature. I did not feel it was safe to eat. I tried to get a hold of customer service which is the most impossible unfortunately. I've had many deliveries and I've only had a few issues and they definitely all seem to be through the food.
This is an extremely basic sandwich that is very dry and doesn't use any particular quality ingredients. It's far better toasted so it's not as soggy, but pretty much anything would be better unless you truly have no time or place at all to prepare food.
It was molded and smelled bad. I checked the date on the item and it had expired. My son had taken a bite before he noticed it was green in lots of spots on the sandwich. I took pictures of it with the date. It was delivered July 2nd. It expired June 29th. Someone did not pull expired items from shelf. The shopper did not check for expiration date. My son did not think to check for expiration date because he ate it right away.
Awful, absolutely awful! I ordered 4 of these subs, two turkey and two deli meats. The turkey subs were soaked as if they were set in water. The bread was so soggy, I scraped it off and gave the cheese and turkey to my dog. I didn't fuss over it. I just let it go.
The last 2 sandwiches I bought at this deli had nothing they were supposed to have on them. This was supposedly a supreme. It came with 2 meats that didn't even cover all the bread, no cheese, soggy bread. The Italian I bought had the exact same thing as this one. Why are these sandwiches $7 when they are like something you'd find out back by the dumpster?
