Marketside Tiramisu Layer Cake, 25.4 oz (Refrigerated)

This cake is the absolute best cake around. It is heavenly with a hint of coffee flavor and smooth all the way through. It's not too sweet like many cakes and that is a plus for me. The whipped layers of creamy goodness is so delicious that just buying this cake even once will get you hooked. Yes it's expensive and probably in the times we are in too expensive so many and for me as well. I tell myself well once isn't gonna break me since it's only me and a friend.

Packaging is good, although it would be a whole lot easier and less cumbersome for the lid to be totally removable instead of stuck/sealed on one side. The texture is good and icing/frosting is tasty and thankfully not too thickly spread on the cake. Tiramisu flavor is also tasty. All in all one of the 2 most delicious cakes we have purchased from WM. Tiramisu Cake and Chantilly Berries Cake are our favorites. Elegant and tasty. A welcome change from cakes that have no flavor and are tasteless. Thankfully WM is continually improving and doing well, because WM welcomes customer feedback and takes customer feedback seriously. Way to go WM!

Love this tiramisu bar cake! One of the best cakes on Walmart shelves. However, I am hesitant to order this cake via home grocery deliveries because it arrives looking all smashed like a pudding. This happened twice. Yes I got the refund, thank you— but I wanted a cake.

I placed the order specially because the app said you had Zero Sugar Dr. Pepper in stock and O was out. We had been to three stores the day before with no luck The part I am upset about is I had to pay the delivery fee and tip (which was not reduced due to only getting one item). In this situation the order should be canceled and full refund. I ended up with a Teramasu that cost me $25 in total.

This was for a dinner and cake was hard and stale! It was working their “date” so even more so upsetting for spending $15 on a stale cake! Walmart requesting me to return it but it was served at the dinner so that is not feasible to do. Maybe it is set up this way because only reason I know it was stale was because it was served and every person said it was stale and we immediately checked sell by date!

I bought this cake thinking that the steep price would mean better ingredients and at least a decent tasting tiramisu. I was sadly mistaken. I ordered delivery, and the cake arrived smashed to one side. Never have I seen such a stingy portion of "espresso" coating each layer, it looked more like a very thin layer of coffee flavored syrup to me. I had to brew my own espresso and apply a generous amount to each slice of cake. Without it, it doesn't even taste close to tiramisu. What's the point of buying a ready-made dessert if customers have to spend extra time fixing their sub-par work? What an insult to charge 15 dollars, what I received was barely worth 5.

My tiramisu was bagged and lying on its side! It's a cake! I don't understand why it was not handled properly. I wasn't asked where I wanted it to be placed to ensure it was handled properly. So when I got home and saw it was damaged I was disappointed and upset! Almost all of the cream was stuck on the side of container and one of the layers was shifted off as well! I wanted to take it back but decided not to as it was late. by the time I went back walked in, waited in line, then went to get a new one, signed for the return I might as well done my shopping myself! I looked like a hobo as well! The whole reason people do pickup is because they don't want to go into the store. So when order has been damaged or missing something it makes you feel like a number! Part of me thinks that shopping at a different store from now is the better option!

The tiramisu cake is delicate. It needs to be handled with care. Mine came upside down. It was a disaster, whipped cream all over the container and the cake was smushed to one side. Handlers should be told to be careful because they can't seem to figure that out for themselves. It's happened too many times!

I don't know what happened, but it was destroyed in the delivery process. It was all crumbled up and it looks horrible like it just doesn't make any sense.
