Marketside Uncured Thick Cut Bacon, 12oz

This is probably my favorite bacon. The flavor is fantastic. It's easy to use in recipes and do unique things, such as wrapping it around pineapple and baking it or putting it in with recipes that have meat where the bacon holds things together. You should try it!

Perfect amount of bacon for two people on a Sunday morning and have a couple leftover. This uncured bacon is delicious. This bacon cannot be fried to super crispy because of the thickness, but I have now become a reformed Krispy bacon person to a somewhat but still crispy and floppy slice bacon lover.

This is honestly the closest bacon I have found to the kind we had growing up when our family raised pork. The flavor is rich and smoky without tasting processed, and the thickness gives it a nice bite instead of shrinking down to nothing in the pan. I really appreciate that it is uncured and not loaded with a bunch of junk ingredients. It cooks up well, tastes great, and has become a regular staple in our house. If you care about quality and real bacon flavor, this one is absolutely worth grabbing. My helpful tip: Cook it low and slow so the fat renders properly and the flavor really comes through.

We only recently began incorporating bacon into our lives again. We bought this 4 times in the past month because it's healthier with less additives, including no nitrates. The flavor is balanced, consistent, smokey, slightly salty like all bacon...but not overpowering. Not thin and not too thick. Really is a perfect cut. We can speak for it's deliciousness based on how we prepare it: __traditional cooking stovetop OR __dry-aging flat on breathable rack inside the fridge for 2 days, cook low-n-slow in stainless steel pan from cold The dry-aged is next level kinda WOW. It'll looks dark because the meat flavors are concentrated. crispy but not burnt (see photos).

This is very good. It's hard to get thicker bacon crispy without burning but it does fairly well . Better price than others, compare ounces. Tastes great. Love it in a BLT or with eggs.

I tried this bacon because it's cheaper than the other nitrate-free ones, but it was a lot thicker and the taste was only decent. It made it hard to render the fat without getting the meat parts too hard. I will probably go back to the more expensive brand again because I prefer it over this one.

This bacon is delicious , and as far as uncured bacon is the absolute best tasting I have ever tried. The problem is that due to a health issue, I have my groceries delivered The last 2 times, I have ordered this bacon (4 pkg at a time) they have come already past the use by date! The previous 4 were only a few days past the date. However, my Feb 19th order brought me 4 pks of bacon marked use by Jan 31, 2026. Something needs to be done to properly rotate this stock so that this NOT HAPPENING!!

I love that this bacon is uncured, but I didn't love the taste when compared to other uncured bacon I buy. It also cooked weird with very little fat which created an odd, thick, sticky, brown/black film on the bottom of the pan, even though I cooked on lower heat.

I cooked this bacon both in the airfryer and on a cast iron and bith results were twerible. The middle burned and the wnds were raw. Buy something else.

would not buy bacon from walmart i have purchased this bacon two times and each time it was expired. they are purposely selling expired meat. weeks after expiration date. DO NOT BUY
