couch is comfortable and is a good quality product. there are 7 boxes total. i did get them in two shipments but it was within 24 hours of each other. i am very happy with my couch

Starter sofa for sure
Back cushions never filled out. Doesn't look like photo it is much smaller. Will sleep one person with a little room to spare. Very firm, not cushy. Good starter sofa for an apartment. Good storage.
