Very compact headphone and great sound quality. Have not tested the battery life yet but if many of the reviews are to be trusted it should last through the week based on my usage. Bluetooth connection to my iPhone was quick and easy. A little pricey without noise cancellation but still audio is great. Generally happy with the purchase.
So years ago I had a set if headphones that I use all the time. Over the years of use they basically fell apart. So I was on a quest for a replacement that have the sound quality of the old. Fast foward 8 years i finally found tge replacement. The major v have a nice sound and what i really love is the eq i can adjust on what im listening too. Wish it was a bigger eq but it's really good!
I own a lot of pairs of headphones, due to the work I do, etc. Currently I think 7 pairs. I've owned two pairs of Major II's, a pair of Major IV's, still own Monitor III's, and now the Major V's. They have the best battery life out of any other headphones ever. I use my headphones for 2-2. 5 hours every single day hiking, and I only need to charge them around every 5-6 months. My Marshall Major IV's lasted approximately 2 years. They still work great, but they're destroyed from wear, sweat, etc. They are still 100% functional, but just like every other pair, they take a beating, and are worn out physically. They have the great bassy Marshall headphone sound, which I love & prefer compared to Sony / Bose. The first MAjor II's blew my mind on that. The great thing on the Major V is they have a custom equalizer on the app, which the Major IV's did not, which I loved on the Monitor III's, giving me 2 equalizer settings I can switch between for music and audio books. They're switchable with a button on the headphones, which is great. If you're considering buying these headphones, know they're a little bassier than other headphones, but not muddy. The equalizer gives you a lot of control over the sound, which means you can get whatever you want out of them. Best battery life, no noise cancelling (which I prefer while hiking), great sound, and last forever. Worth every penny and then some. Make sure to buy an extra set of ear pads when you purchase. They last a couple years, but eventually will break. This is not a problem for me, as the rest of the headphones are usually worn out too, from hiking, and wear and tear. This has been greatly improved since the Major II. I always forget to buy them, and just end up buying a new set of headphones anyway, because I love the upgrade. Worth the extra few bucks, to extend the life of the headphones a little longer.
Man. . . I'm glad I was blessed with the knowledge that such a thoughtful and musically rich company as Marshall exists. I had the MAJOR IV before and absolutely fell in love with it right away and was devastated when it got lost somehow. As someone who highly values using headphones as ear protectors, listening to quality music, and someone whose been through at least 10 different headphone brands in my lifetime, Marshall's MAJOR V has been *easily* the greatest choice out of them all for me!
Good product, i love it!
Love that sound can be customized in the app. So far battery life has been really impressive. I can wear them for hours. Love how small they pack up to, wish they came with a case.
Great product. I would expect nothing else, considering they are made by Marshall. sound wonderful. I don't know of anyone else who can touch the 10 hour battery life. This is a great buy.
I got this headphones in July of 2025 and it's march 2026 and the headphones stopped working, never got them wet always kept them charged with the battery protector on and now they won't charge and the red light is always on
As a audiophile the sound on these is optimal for my music hearing experience! They are comfy, easy to store and sturdy. Overall I absolutely love these!
