It was time to update our old pots and pans and this Martha Stewart Everyday cookware is both pretty and functional. It has 10 pieces which includes lids; in Matte Silver and it's stainless Steel. I made pork loin chops in the pan, seared them perfectly. Using less heat for everything I have used to cook with this set so far, the heat is disbursed evenly and has inspired me to cook more. It came with additional wood kitchen Tools which was a nice extra. Clean up is different, I used a non scratch sponge to keep the stainless steel looking shiny. It does require a little extra elbow grease but well worth it. I'm very pleased with this Martha Stewart cookware, it's a quality set that proves itself as every day durable!
They are very nice! The packaging was nice and delivered with care. They are kinda heavy. The quality is great. I love the accessories that came with them. They are easy to clean. Warm water, a soft sponge and dishwashing liquid does the trick. I would recommend if you want high quality cookware!
The quality of this cookware set is great. They are very sturdy and well made. My favorite feature is the etched fill lines on the inside of the pot. This helps you see how much you are making. If you are looking for a high quality stainless steel cookware set, I would recommend this one.
I love to cook so having the right pans makes it all the more pleasurable. These pans compare to other ones I own. They evenly heat, the glass lids help you see what your cooking and an added bonus your lids will store on your saucepan handles so you always have it ready to use.
MARTHA STEWART COOKWARE SET IS VERY NICE .I LOVE THE SHINE. THEY COOK EVENLY BUT THE HANDLES GOT VERY HOT AND SO DID THE LID HANDLE.THE MEASUREMENTS INSIDE THE PANS WERE A NICE TOUCH.I HAD A PROBLEM WHEN I TRIED DRAINING THE WATER FROM THE POT. THE POT HOLDER KEPT SLIPPING AROUND THE HANDLE WHICH IS ROUND AND NARROW. I DO LIKE THESE PANS BUT BE CAREFUL USING THEM.YOU COULD GET SOME NASTY BURNS.
I was definitely in need of a new cookware set, so I was naturally excited when this Martha Stewart 10-piece set arrived. This is a beautiful matte silver stainless-steel set. You receive a 5-quart and a 2.6-quart Dutch oven, along with a 4-quart and 2-quart saucepan, all come with lids. I love that there are etched fill lines inside the cookware, so you will always have precise measurements. Along with the cookware, you also receive two wooden cooking utensils, so you won't have to worry about scratching the pots. This set is hand wash only, not for your dish washer. This is an extremely nice, well-made cookware set that I am sure will last me for years. It also compliments my stainless-steel appliances nicely!
I wasn't expecting such good quality but when it arrived, I was very pleasantly surprised. The pots are quite thick and heavy. They are very sturdy and will hold up well for many years. The lids are also well made and sturdy. The glass lids allow you to see the contents of the pot as it cooks so you can keep an eye on its progress without having to lift the lid off and lose valuable heat. In this set you will get a 5 qt. dutch oven with lid, a 4 qt. sauce pan with lid, one 2 qt. sauce pan with lid, and a 2.6 qt dutch oven with lid. All pots are made of 18/8 non-reactive stainless steel. You also will get 2 wooden cooking utensils. Perfect for helping prevent scratching of the bottom and sides of your pots when stirring your foods. I love that each pot has etched measurements on the inside. This really is helpful when I made homemade pudding. I can measure right inside the pot. I used both dutch ovens to make rice and stir fry. It was very easy to clean up afterwards and there was no sticking to the pots. This has become my new favorite set and I have cleaned out my cabinets of older and cheaper pots to make room for these. These are something I can recommend to others as the quality is there.
The pots and pans are stunning to look at in new condition...not so pretty after being used once. But this is typical for stainless cookware. Cleaning is a pain, and considerable effort is needed to keep the interior metal shinning like new. Because I have a glass top electric range the exterior of the cookware stays nice with no burn marks. All the pieces are convenient sizes, solid, and have a nice weight to them, without being too heavy to handle. The glass lids are well made and fit perfectly. This cookware requires much more cleaning than my nonstick cookware, but the pieces are beautiful to look at!
This a straight forward (entry level or basic) stainless steel cookware set. You get four pan and four lids plus two wood utensils. The best feature of the set is each pan has a heat spreader on the bottom for even cooking. The heat spreader is fabulous on an induction burner. In my opinion the stainless metal gauge is a little thin but it cooks fine. As with all stainless steel if you cook at high temperature food will burn into the pots. The lids may be the second best feature of the set. They nest nicely within in the appropriate pot so the set can be stacked neatly on top of each other when storing. The handle seem sturdy and are easy to clean. The wood utensils are the joke of the set. My spatula came chipped on one corner. It will still flip food and get bits of food off the bottom of the pots but I was just annoyed I received a chipped utensil. This set is nice in appearance, but I will probably cook on my trusty cast iron pans most of the time.
Ok let me start out bu saying I cook A LOT and who doesn't want new pans once in a while? That being said, I am a but disappointed with this set. Okay first the good. I love the Martha brand in general. When she puts her name on something it is typically quality. That being said I love size of the pans and that they all came with matching glass covers with steam holes. I love, love, love that the inside of each pan has liquid measurements stamped on the inside. I love that the pans are stainless and can go from stovetop to oven without issue. Okay, here is the only negative-- I seasoned these pans according to the package instructions and also based on my experience with non-stick pans-- I do not feel as though these pans clean easily. Everything has been sticking and needs to soak, it is very frustrating and makes me not like them enough that I will not recommend these pans to other people, which is just terrible because they are a great looking set, were packaged with great care and I like everything else about them.
