I am often boiling vegetables, pasta, shrimp and crab legs, etc. However, my portions are usually for one or two people, so my regular size Dutch oven is really too big for what I need. This pot is just right for smaller portions. The stainless steel is durable. It's easy and light enough to drain without worrying about dropping it. It has liter N quart measurement lines inside food precise measuring.
This thing is made well, and I love the measurement guide on the inside. Makes it easier to start with a certain amount of water. One thing I'll note is that I hate products that have labels that tear off horribly and leave residue—did NOT have that issue with the stickers that come on this. I have some stainless steel pots where the handle doesn't take on too much heat, but these handles did get pretty warm, but simple gloves did the trick.
I love it. They are great for everything. These bowls are very spacious and brings their fitting lids. I found them very helpful specially in summer times. Their lids holds tight so no mess which I always look for in products like these. Nice to take them to the park with some fruits, salad or even meat. They keep the food fresh. These bowls are definitely great kitchen essentials. The material seems high quality , so far so easy to clean and the material still intact.
This is a great Dutch oven, and it's good quality too. It can be used in the oven up to 550, but the kid can only be used to a maximum temperature of 350 degrees. It is excellent for roasts and middle eastern dishes. I only wish that the max temperature for the lid was the same as the pot. Otherwise this product is perfect for cooking in the oven or on the stove! It doesn't have anything that could melt or warp as well, which is excellent.
i love this small size Dutch oven! its so good looking i just leave it on my stovetop all the time because its a perfect size for so many things i want to cook. I'm very partial to Martha Stewart Cookware. i have whole set so i know how high quality it is. This is a perfect complement to my set. The see through lid makes it easy for me to see inside the pot while I'm cooking. It also goes in the oven and is oven safe up to 500 degrees making it even more versatile. its a heavy gauge stainless steel and heats quickly and evenly food rarely sticks and its easy to clean. I can just pop it in my dishwasher and it doesn't even take up very much room it looks great and cooks great!
I moved last year and had to switch from years of cooking with natural gas over to a glass-top electric stove. I've burned too many meals to mention. Primarily pasta sauce, chili, and anything that requires long simmer times. The first test with my new 2.6qt Martha Stewart Dutch Oven was a small batch of pasta sauce that turned out PERFECT!!! Absolutely no burning or scorching in the 3+ hours the sauce simmered. I love that this pot has easy to see measurements on the inside, and it's so easy to clean... with no stuck on food. It's a perfect size dutch oven for a small family. I was somewhat surprised that it's hand-wash only, but that's ok, it washes easily. Based on the excellent quality and results of this pot, I'll be ordering larger ones for my chili and soup, since I make large batches so I can freeze future meals, and since this pot sits perfectly flat on the glass burners for even heat distribution.
Beautiful pot and feels very substantial. I cook a lot for friend and family and use this pot almost daily. Great for large amounts of chicken to cook for a dish, pots of spaghetti sauce and pastas. I use it for various dishes and especially like it because clean up is a breeze. If something sticks (which is rare), soak for a few minutes and then the pot will wipe clean. I do highly recommend and will probably get another one for days I'm cooking freezer meals in large quantities. Great pot!!!
This was my first Stainless Steel Dutch Oven! I like that it fits perfectly on my small burners, and it has multiple uses. I just used it for veggies and it heated up quickly and evenly with no issues. The lid fits my other pots and pans, also, which I love. And this can go in the oven up to 500 degrees! The lid can only go up to 350, though, so be aware. It is solid and sturdy, cooks quickly and evenly. I love it!
I received the Martha Stewart 2.6 quart Dutch Oven in stainless steel and I really like it. I own and a vintage set of Club cookware that has been passed down to me so that's what I've always used. I didn't own a smaller Dutch oven so I couldn't wait to try the Martha Stewart 2.6 quart. I made a one pot Easter dinner in it and was happy with the results. The food cooked evenly (scalloped potatoes, ham, peas) and turned out perfectly. I honestly thought the stainless steel would be a nightmare to wash because of the cheese but nothing stuck to it! Washed up beautifully. I wash my dishes by hand. The only issue is cleaning the rivets inside the pot and lid. I have a toothbrush I use for washing around handles and such that worked fine. Now I really don't think this cookware will last the 80 years that my Club pots have but it's definitely going into regular rotation. The size is fantastic for a small family like ours and it's good quality.
I really like this Dutch Oven. I was surprised how heavy it is! It also has measurement markings on the inside. I love that the glass lid is vented and fits snugly. It heats evenly and I had no problem with food sticking to the bottom and it washes up well. I only gave 4 stars because the mounts for the handles are low and my spoon kept hitting and hanging on them when I stirred the food inside. See photos. Other than that this pot deserves 5 stars.
