martha stewart everyday 8 qt stock pot in stainless steel: I was delighted to get this stock pot. It is a different convenient size and actually matches my other cookware. A good weight, I really like the base filled with aluminum for even heating and this was really noticeable when I sauté the onions and garlic before starting my stock. I tested it with soup and again with thick beans, so easy to clean{I love how you can toss some baking soda in with warm water and soak a few then just wipe out any mess , even burned on - and if you need to you can even put in the dishwasher! Made of Sturdy Stainless steel with a glass lid which can be used in the oven[lidto350] I really adore the measurements clearly printed along the side so you do not have to guess how much is in the pot! easy to use and clean and reliable even heating this will be used for years to come!

Hello 2 All, The Martha Stewart 8 Quart Stock Pot is great size for a big family. The day received was the day of used. My wife loves this stock pot & has used many times. This 8 quart stock pot is the perfect size for our needs. Previously I had a 5 qt pot which was a little too small when making stew, chili or soup, and a huge 20 qt stock pot that we would use in those cases. It will be nice to have the right size stock pot for our needs, and the nicely marked measurements inside and the clear vented lid are added bonuses. This pot also cleans up extremely well. Am looking forward to many years of use since it seems to be a nice quality pot.

This is a really nice stock pot. So far, I have made chili, Hungarian goulash and chicken soup in it. The bottom is flat and sits perfectly on my glass cooktop. It heats quickly and maintains the heat well. I love the tempered glass cover, as well. All my other stock pots have flat metal covers and I really don't like them. Cleanup was a breeze.

This is my new favorite stockpot. My favorite feature about it is the measurements on the inside of the pot. It also has nice sturdy handles so you can get a good grip on it and not spill anything when moving it from the stove. It was easy to clean after use and didn't require any scrubing. It also came with a nice Glas lid! These pot is a really good size also and was perfect for cooking a low country boil inside of it.

love my new stock pot. it is a nice size. i like how its not a heavy pot. it looks and feels very nice. the best part i like is it has the measuring lines inside the pot telling you the quarts measurements which is vey helpful when making soups for me. it is easy to see and read as well. i have made both soups and chili with my pot and cleaning it is nice too.

Stainless steel cookware is just absolutely gorgeous and convenient. Perfectly even cooking every time. I love this stock pot with the etched measurements along the inside edge of pot. Allows a perfect fill of liquids without measurement because it is built in. The lid seals nicely giving you such control over anything you may put together for dinner. I love the larger size of this pot then my standard pot. Allows me to make a larger batch of soups and stews to feed more people. Cleans very easily and just all around looks sharp! I highly recommend this pot!

Got this to use with an induction cooker I always seem to need for family dinners. I wasn't sure how it would work, since stainless steel isn't that great about even heat distribution. I was surprised that it had a cladded bottom, and even heating wasn't a problem. I must say it came up to cooking temperature rather fast, which if not watching close could wind up with burned or scorched food. Clean up was a breeze, and for the most part it was wash and wipe. One thing I noticed was you have to wipe off the water drops after washing, because if you don't, you'll wind up with drops imprinted on the inside and outside. Since it's 8 quart, it's a good size for soups and chili. Overall, it's a good buy, and it's well worth the cost. I highly recommend it since it's induction ready and easy clean up.
