You will never regret buying stainless steel cookware, and this Martha Stewart 8-quart stockpot is no exception. These pieces are incredibly easy to use and keep clean. I typically use my stockpot for boiling, sauteing, making soups and stews, and even frying. The 8-quart size is really ideal for me. Also, this particular pan comes with a liquid measuring guide on the inside of the pan, which is so handy! For cleaning, I wash it with soap and hot water and then polish using a stainless steel powder to keep it in good condition and looking brand new. The lid design is wonderful for keeping steam inside the pot and also being able to keep an eye on the food you are cooking. The bottom of the pan is thick and has an even cooking surface, and it doesn't burn because of that. I would definitely recommend this pot to anyone looking to use stainless steel cookware!

I enjoy cooking with my Martha Stewart Everyday Silverberry Stainless Steel Stock Pot. They thought of everything when making this pot. This stock pot can hold up to 8 quarts, and makes it easy to cook for my family of four. The etched fill lines on the inside of the pot make measuring my food simple. This pot is made with an impact-bonded aluminum base that ensures that heat is distributed evenly throughout the pot. I like that it has some weight to it, and is very sturdy. The double riveted handles are durable and are also heat-resistant. They are smooth and beveled and make it easy for me to grip them when lifting them off of my stove. The lid has a steam vent to help prevent my liquids from boiling over. This pot is perfect for one-dish meals. I can sear my meat, and add the rest of my ingredients to this single pot without having to dirty multiple dishes. It can go from my stove top into my oven if need be. It can even be used under my broiler. It is also safe to use on a variety of stove tops, including induction, ceramic, and halogen stove tops. I love how easy it is for me to clean it. It is even dishwasher safe!

This 8 quart stock pot is the perfect size for our needs. Previously I had a 5 qt pot which was a little too small when making stew, chili or soup, and a huge 20 qt stock pot that we would use in those cases. It will be nice to have the right size stock pot for our needs, and the nicely marked measurements inside and the clear vented lid are added bonuses. This pot also cleans up extremely well. Am looking forward to many years of use since it seems to be a nice quality pot.

love my new stock pot. it is a nice size. i like how its not a heavy pot. it looks and feels very nice. the best part i like is it has the measuring lines inside the pot telling you the quarts measurements which is vey helpful when making soups for me. it is easy to see and read as well. i have made both soups and chili with my pot and cleaning it is nice too.

I have a 12 qt. stock pot, but this 8 quart is just right for smaller amounts. I rarely fill my 12 qt pot when making soup, stew, etc. It remains very awkward and heavy for smaller quantities. This size is very easy to use, of good quality, and has the same, glass type lid. I use it much more than my larger pot. Would recommend it.

It's sturdy and deep which is great for soups, stews, chili, beans, and greens. It can be used on the stove top or in the oven. I love the glass lid because I can check on what's cooking without lifting it! The bonus is that it cleans up well in the dishwasher.

This is my new favorite stockpot. My favorite feature about it is the measurements on the inside of the pot. It also has nice sturdy handles so you can get a good grip on it and not spill anything when moving it from the stove. It was easy to clean after use and didn't require any scrubing. It also came with a nice Glas lid! These pot is a really good size also and was perfect for cooking a low country boil inside of it.

This is a really nice stock pot. So far, I have made chili, Hungarian goulash and chicken soup in it. The bottom is flat and sits perfectly on my glass cooktop. It heats quickly and maintains the heat well. I love the tempered glass cover, as well. All my other stock pots have flat metal covers and I really don't like them. Cleanup was a breeze.

This is the best stock pot I have ever used. It cleans easily. The courts are etched into the steel on the inside. You can see through the covered to see if you're boiling or simmering. The pot cleans easily because it's stainless steel I love the size not too big not too small and I make just the right amount for my family in it.

quality stainless steel cooking pot, with a vented glass lid so you can keep an eye on the contents while cooking. depending on your recipe, you just need to take care as to not let your food stick because it is a stainless pot, and not a non stick surface. definitely perfect for soups, chili, etc.
