Martha White Sweet Yellow Cornbread Mix, 7 Oz Pouch

This is an excellent cornbread mix. They taste just like my grandma's cornbread. I couldn't believe it!!! I have been trying to replicate her recipe. I don't have to now because Martha White did.

the first time i bought Martha White's cornbread i did it on a whem. one year later i continue to buy the same thing. a little butter and then add honey. goes well with meatloaf and chicken and greens

I liked that this cornbread mix only needs an egg and some milk. The directions don't specify what kind of milk, so my guess was anything except maybe skim milk. I used 2 percent milk and it was fine. It's easy to make and tastes just fine. However, I gave it the 4 stars because the directions were unclear as to what kind of milk to use and because it's tasty but not that different from the good old Jiffy mix. I think it would be better if you just added either some canned or cooked frozen corn to it and - if you like a little kick - a cut up jalapeno pepper. I added some frozen corn that I cooked first to doctor it up a little.

I ordered 2 Martha White sweet corn bread But I received 1 correct the other was mexican cornbread. now In stuck with incorrect items because I can't get credit for the incorrect items, cornbread apples and bananas unless I take them to the store. I don't want to drive there thats why I ordered them to be brought to me.

This cornbread is lacking the flavor we expect for sweet cornbread.
