This is one of a trinity of Marvel 80th Anniversary figures, the other two being Thor and Iron Man, directly evoking their late 60's to mid-70's look and aspect. The level of detail is not only accurate, but color and tone correct to that era.

The quality of the 80th anniversary line of Marvel Legends feels superior to the regular legends line. This is exclusive to Wal-Mart and I love the detail of the scales on his shoulders and chest region. Grab these while you can.

Great packaging, sculpt and articulation, good accessories but somewhat light compared to Iron Man in the same line. Buyer Beware: Most of the Captain America figures have eyes that aren't aligned correctly, some MUCH worse than others and it's a problem on both heads. Check carefully before you pull the trigger.
