Masontops Pickle Packer
Tamper is made of quality wood and is perfect for tampering cabbage in wide mouth jars. I am very happy with this product.

The Perfect Packer
I used the Pickle Packer to make red cabbage sauerkraut. The packer worked perfectly to pound the cabbage in order to mix the cabbage with the sea salt and to break down the cell walls to release the juices. After several minutes of mixing and pounding I let it set for a couple of hours to macerate to release even more juices. The packer worked perfectly to tightly pack the cabbage into the Masontop quart jar.

Great Product
This item does what it is made to do very well. It washes up by hand very easily. Acacia is very water and bug resistant and is environmentally friendly. I'm very happy with this purchase.
