Wonderful tool!
A truly wonderful tool. I found that by squeezing the sides together and putting light force on the center of the blade, you can vary the depth of cut as needed. I found I can peal 1 1/4" wide shavings off thick stock to make ailerons, easily. I did have to hone the blade even as new, but then I hone my razor blades too before I use them. I love this tool.

Quick Work
Having used this razor plane on a Balsa USA kit and a 30% Extra that came with 3 sheets of 1/2"x 48" balsa that needed to be whittled down I can say it is an essential tool. It is very easy to glide this down long balsa surfaces like leading edges and blocks. You will find yourself sitting in a mountain of balsa shavings in no time.After using this tool it is easy to polish everything up with a sanding block. Be sure to buy extra blades!
