Master Lock 580DLF Outdoor Padlock with Key, 1 Pack

I received this lock and i love it. I like the idea that it wont rust. My husband has his lawn mover in the shed and he needed a great lock and one that if it rains or in the cold weather it wont rust. We really like this lock and you dont have to worry about remember numbers to unlock you just use your key that come with it to unlock it.

I received this product from the Spark Reviewer program. The lock is heavy duty and therefore we had a hard time finding a use for it since it would not fit our trailer to lock it. With the rust oleum cover it should last a long time. But take note that nothing is Invincible, so it could still rust over time unless recoated over time. Very strong and well made. Someone would have a hard time cutting this.

I'm very pleased with this lock, it's heavy duty and very solid. I'm testing it out in my garage right now but I will be using this lock on my toolbox at work. I like how its rust and cut resistant. Has a longer shackle clearance so you can use it for many different things. It's tough under fire and feel confident no one would be able to pry this one open.

IT HAS SILVER SPECKS THAT ARE VERY BRIGHT. IT IS VERY THICK AND COULD BE USED ANY WHERE YOU WANT IT COMES WITH TWO KEYS ALSO.IT WOULD BE VERY USEFUL ON YOUR KIDS LOCKERS OR WHERE EVER THEY WANT TO KEEP THINGS SAFE. *MasterLock 580DLF RustOLeum Lock * If the lock is as secure as the packaging, it should be very, very secure! I had a lot of trouble getting it out of the package. Lol I had never had such a heavy duty lock before, and I was excited to try this one out. *First Impressions* The 580DLF RustOLeum Lock came with two keys. I had no problem opening the lock with either key. The lock was quite heavy compared to my lock old lock that I use on my shed outdoors, and it is way more secure too. I think it would be really hard to get this off especially without alerting my dogs and me to the noise it would take to even try. *RustOLeum* If anyone has ever had anything to do with “RustOleum”, you know that it is good to hold up in weather. No one likes a rusty metal anything outside. I should spray my shed with that stuff. But anyway, this lock is very weather resistant and should last an extremely long time outside. *Tamper Resistant* This lock has laminated steel for extra strength and ball bearing locking for maximum pry resistance. It also has a pin tumbler cylinder for increased picking resistance and is cut resistant. *Conclusion* I would recommend these types of Masterlock Locks for any of your outdoor uses to help keep your things safely stored for your next use. I love mine. So far, mine is working just fine. It should do great this winter and am looking forward to using it during this time also.

The Master Lock Padlock with Rust-Oleum and certified laminated steel pin timber padlock was just what I was looking for to add some security to my backyard gate. I noticed that this padlock was recommended for outdoor use and is weather resistant and was also guaranteed to not rust so I thought it would be perfect. It also has better cut resistance with 3/8 inch hardened boron alloy shackle and has laminated steel for added strength. They have also added a ball baring locking system for increased resistance to picking. I loved all the security features. This set comes with a padlock and two keys which I thought was great. I really wanted a key padlock so that I wouldn't have to worry about remembering a pin and love that it came with 2 keys just in case you happen to loose one. It has worked perfectly on my gate and I love the added security. It is heavy duty and very well made and I expect it to last several years to come. Would recommend to everyone.

This is a great heavy duty lock. It comes with 2 keys and it opens and closes smooth, even after being rained on for a few days. My gate is more secure and I feel better about this lock being better cut resistant, better weather resistant and the Rust-Oleum should make this lock last for years! Great product, will buy another one to replace my other gate lock.

I got this Master Lock to replace a 20-year-old Master Locks used on my backyard gate. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that I needed to pay attention to the shackle width and this handsome, hefty lock is just a smidge too thick to fit in the hole in my side gate. That's a bummer because I love the black speckled body on this lock, it's very stylish and attractive. It's very heavy and I was drawn in by the appearance and the Rustoleum Certified Laminated Steel Pin Tumbler because it's perfect for extended outdoor use. I'm holding on to it for future use because it's so sturdy and the locking mechanism is so smooth and responsive, with the keys turning easily and a mighty spring when opened. It does fit into the hole for my pool gate so if I ever have guests with kids, I can use this and be confident that no one will enter that area unexpectedly.

This master lock is super awesome, very strong well-built, you can feel the weight in your hand of how well-made it is. With the 1 1/2 inch clearance, you have a multitude of uses, outdoors especially at keeping your prized possessions safe. Included are two number coded keys .

Over the years we have tried numerous brands of locks for our back gate. Over time it seems like these locks just don't last the test of time. From rusting out to just seizing up, this one so far is working flawlessly. Now its only been a small amount of time but with other locks after a couple of days in the rain, you can see the rust starting to appear. Overall, we are pleased with the lock and its holding up so far.
