Great lock, took forever to deliver

I agree with the other low star reviews. It's easy to accidently change the combo if it's in the open position and the letter dial is unknowingly turned at the same time. I had to throw it away despite trying several combinations one way or the other on each dial. I still reluctantly bought another one....

Reading these other reviews, I see I am not the only one that got locked out by this lock. It randomly changed codes on us. We used it maybe 6 times, and it opened just fine until one day it suddenly didn't, and we were locked out at the pool with all our belongings in the locker. We had to get the lock cut off to get to our phones and car keys. It was horrible. I would not trust this lock. It is unreliable garbage.

It locked me out after I reset. I cannot reset again because it is in lock position and I cannot open in order to reset again.

This is NOT a luggage lock! It is huge! I have to still return it.

I just bought this lock today. The process for resetting the combination seems simple enough but the lock is so poorly manufactured that it becomes incredibly difficult. Ended up not being able to reset the combination to the one I wanted and instead the lock is now unusable. Came to the website to see that a lot of other people have had similar issues with the lock combination changing. Would 100% recommend NOT buying this product.

Don't buy this lock. On multiple occasions the lock would change its combination code. I ultimately had to cut this lock off because it changed the code and I was unable to guess the random code...

I like Master locks, but they dropped the ball on this one. It is easy to change the code which in the end is the failure. The lock while open for a few days got jostled around and changed the code. Can not be reset without the current code and with tens of thousands of combo's it became junk after 2 wks. Can't recommend this lock to anyone.

I bought three of these locks for use at work, on my lockers. Two of them have failed to open after about 50 open/close cycles. It seems as though the letter cylinders are of poor quality and do not turn accurately, or they loose coding. After cutting two of the locks off, I've thrown the last one in the garbage as I can't afford to be locked out of my locker. It will be several years before I try another combination Master Lock.
