Masterbuilt Gravity Series Grills Rotisserie Kit

I've had my MasterBuilt Gravity 560 for about a month now. It's literally as easy to use as an oven. I smoked about 40lbs of salmon and lake trout on it with alder and lump charcoal. It turned out amazing. I baked pizzas on a stone, roasted peppers, and grilled burgers & chicken wings. They all turned out great. I also bought the rotisserie accessory and roasted some chickens with hickory and charcoal which tasted way better than store bought. This thing does everything. I love the charcoal hopper but hate the coating inside because it keeps flaking off. That's really my only complaint. I had some shipping damage which customer service quickly sent replacement parts for. I'm the happiest griller on the block.

What a fantastic addition to the grill , whole chicken is awesome. Had to make a very small adjustment to the warmer rack rail but very simple to fix so middle rack would slide back into unit after installing the rotisserie rod holder.

Great rotisserie even for a 15lb turkey!! Was worried about the size but it handled it like a champ!

It seems a little weak when turning ,i put 2 small chickens on it and had to take one off after it ran awhile started goin back and forth not making a complete turn

This was partially an Anniversary gift from my wife 2 months ago & sold a Traeger to make up the difference. Honestly, been so Crazy busy have Only got to do 1 small cook to test temperature control & searing ability, both did well. Also added a bunch of Mods to improve life cycle & overall performance. Haven't got to use Rotisserie yet, but looking forward to utilizing it in future cooks.

Overall seems like a nice kit but the sleeve that goes through the smokers lid and attaches to the rotisserie motor has imperfections on the inside causing the motor to bind up and not turn I did notice this until after I tried using it for the first time. I was able to find the burs and file them down so that it spins freely. Hopefully It didn't stain the motor too much to make it fail prematurely.

I bought this about a month ago. I love the rotisserie, but I had to trim the metal piece that fits inside the part that goes through the gravity 1050 from the motor to the inside of the grill. If you tighten this fitting like the instructions tell you to, the metal piece that holds the rotisserie binds and causes the rotisserie to stick and not turn.

The first problem was that one of the threaded inserts in the grill wall pushed in while screwing the bracket into it. Can't get to it because of the double wall but the other two screws hold it fine. Poor design with the adapter turning inside the collar without a bearing or grease or anything. Mine locked up about an hour into a cook. I was cooking a 6.5lb whole chicken. I took it apart and there was deep groves in the adapter and inside the collar. Must not have been completely round or smooth or a metal particle was in there. I got emery cloth and smoothed out all the groves. I turned the adapter with my drill. Everything is smooth now and I put a little lithium grease inside the collar. It turns now but I haven't tried cooking anything yet. Hopefully it won't lock up again. Other than that, the motor and all the parts seem to be good quality.

The rotisserie “collets” or collars are made of inferior materials and constantly stuck causing the motor to reverse direction and unscrew the collet collar or sleeve out of the motor creating disaster

My daughter bought me this for Christmas 2024. I just now got a chance to use it 9/24/25. Motor doesn't spin the rotisserie all the way around. Only really cooked one half of my 2 chickens. I had to manually rotate them myself.
