[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this last summer and I love it. I live in a small town house and have a small side yard so it's perfect if you have limited space. Perfect size for a family of four. I've done quick cooks like burgers and hot dogs to some short smokes like chicken and ribs, this handled it all like a champ. Heats up quick too and it's easy to control the temp. Would definitely recommend to anyone with limited space or if you need something portable for tailgating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On a fishing trip a guy was using this grill to cook shore lunches. He would collapse it down and secure it to the top of a cooler on a small boat. Worked great and easy to setup and take down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly: Out of the box, there's not a great deal to assemble with this grill. All told, I spent maybe 10 minutes on assembly. Directions are very clear, and easy to follow. Weight: For a grill that can handle regular high volume grilling, it's extremely light. At the same time, it doesn't feel as if its lightness is sacrificing build quality. Portability: When put away, this grill takes up no more space than a typical "one summer" portable grill. Build quality: I'm shocked how good the build quality is on this grill considering it's portable. I didn't expect this grill to be built well enough to last several seasons, but it's certainly built to last. Cooking: I can grill anything on this grill, and get good quality results. I've cooked small and large streaks, ribs, chicken, fish, vegetables, and even a pie! Bottom line: This is the first portable grill I've ever used where I don't feel like I'm losing out on quality in order to gain portability. Highly recommended 5 stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a neat little grill. The addition of a fire box and a fan makes for a unique grilling experience and much easier cleanup. I do recommend reading the "operating instructions." My first grilling experience was not great, but I had not put charcoal grate at the bottom of the fire box so there was not enough air flow. When I corrected that issue, the next grilling experience was much better! My only issue was that the glue holding the knob cover didn't hold and the control nob didn't work correctly. A couple of dabs of glue fixed that issue.

I purchased this item to use as a temporary fix so that I could still grill and smoke while my patio was being poured. This item works great as a grill but as a smoker it leaves much to be desired. It will not hold a steady temperature as it fluctuates 10 to 15 degrees constantly. The temp gage it came with reads 80 degrees low from the actual temperature. And finally there is one heck of a hot spot next to the fire box. If you want to use this as a grill I recommend it. At the higher temps it works great. But as a smoker I would not recommend it. I'll be so glad when my 1050 arrives.

I got this grill for my fiancé and we loved it while he was able to use it, but after a few uses the fan stopped working. The fans are out of stock on masterbuilt's website and we can't find anything else to replace it.
