First off, I am the victim here. I played with the original figures and watched the cartoon daily as a kid. When I saw the new line of "Origins" and saw how well made they looked, I was pretty excited. My mistake, was showing not just my wife, but also my own mother. They both immediately began to conspire with each other and force me into buying these. I had no choice. The figures are well made (though seem smaller than I remember) and have much better joint articulation and posing than the originals did. Each character comes with a comic, like the originals did... but its the same exact comic for all of them! I almost took a star off for this. I was one of the few kids that actively read and kept those original figure's comics (no I don't have any of them anymore.) Anyway, the purchase was a terrible decision forced upon me. I better just go build some shelves and find some way to pose them in some super epic action battle. I'm the victim here remember.
I heard rumors that the cards are coming in damaged, but I was going to open it possibly so I took a chance. This one came in unpunched, but the card was already bent to fit in the package which was very annoying. At least it was the correct figure as Walmart has been notorious for Sending the wrong items in the past.
I was excited to get these MOTU Origins figures for my kids ( and myself)! When I saw the Skeletor figure in the store I immediately checked online to see if any others were available. I ordered the He-Man figure and Beast Man for my son and he absolutely loves them so I decided to get a couple of the female figures for my daughter. At this point we now have the entire first run of figures and Battle Cat along with pre-ordering Castle Grayskull, I'm as ecstatic about them as they are lol. Very reminiscent of the classic figures I loved as a kid but with better articulation and minimal changes from the original looks. These feel sturdy and should take some hard play. Awesome for collectors and children. Like others have said, they do bend the card backs a bit to fit them into boxes when shipping. Not a biggie for us as we got them to open and play with anyway. Impatiently awaiting more figures! :)
Delivery was on time. Thank you! The figure itself is in perfect condition unfortunately, the box/package was damaged on 2 sides and looks warped. This is a gift for a toy collector. Wish it was in better condition because if its going to be worth anything someday now it won't be worth much because of the damaged packaging. It was shipped in a bag instead of a box with peanuts for protection. Not happy with that. If I can't buy this in the store because its not being stocked then please protect what is bought and shipped through the internet. Other than that it was a good product and great price.
Great action figures, they look good for adults to display and mix in with their existing collections. Also well constructed and durable enough for kids (suggested ages 6 ) to actually play with. The short comic book included might just spark that imagination your child's tablet or device tends to steal.
this one was bit better in when arrive condition in comparison to the teela figure i ordered from Walmart Online. You need to protect the item better shipping to a customer. a flimsy loose big bag bag does not protect an item at all. You should train your worker how properly package an items . in a box with protection label and should be labeled fragile. if your not sure how to send it right there many youtube that will show you how to ship an item correctly. if your care to keep your clientele you should consider this ideas. from KHT
The figure itself is great. Collectors should stick to searching physical stores for these figures. I don't recommend getting it online unless you intend to open it and do not care about packaging. I've purchased multiple items from this line and they have all arrived with severely damaged packaging.
The product backing was damaged and creased because of how poorly it was packaged there is a chance if you get it through the mail that you can get it with the punch tab still in place. Also the figure itself left some things to be desired I think it was a poor style choice for her skin to be green and for whatever reason the women figures have dunlap knees. I would rather see the joint.
I ordered 2. they came IN A BOX yet the packaging for both were bent up. unacceptable. buy them from a collectors toy place. may be more expensive but at least they care about what they send to customers. it looked like they had been rolling around the back room out of a case for a couple months being bounced around.
I liked, that I actually was able to get it,even though it was supposed to be released at the beginning of Aug. and was incredibly difficult to get in stock online, even though its an Walmart exclusive, and never showed up in store, then when it finally was able to be ordered, and received the product packaging, was in horrible condition,if anyone is reading this review,I might not order, collectibles from Walmart again
