First time I have used this Matrix Biolage but I am a long time user of Biolage Raw Purple Shampoo. I thought the lathering of the hair was better and my hair was smoother and prettier in color when it dried. The written reviews convinced me to try it. I will continue to use it.

This is time I've ever used this particular purple shampoo. I noticed the blonde effects coming through and the brassiness starting to dissipate with the first use. Thank goodness! Really glad I bought this product and I will definitely continue to buy it in the future.

good quality shampoo salon recommendation

It was shocking to see how purple this shampoo is the first time I dispensed it onto my hand. I thought ok, maybe it'll lather white like a normal shampoo. Nope. It looks like you're shampooing your hair with a deep purple hair dye. You have to make sure to rinse it off completely or else it'll get all over everything...towels, shower curtain, bath mat, etc. Also, the bottle says in very tiny print that it's for blond hair, which I don't have, and the website doesn't highlight this fact. I will be returning this product.

I bought this Biolage colorlast, after trying and loving Biolage Volume Bloom. BIG MISTAKE! This Colorlast shampoo turned my fingernails and towels Purple. The purple stains appears when the towels and hands are dry. The purple will not washout. My fingernails are purple! This product should be refunded and pulled off of the market.

Shampoo is everywhere on package (leaking)

I do not like this shampoo. Apart from the very deep purple dye staining your hands and fingernails, the shampoo does not lather up very well at all. I should only need to use a small amount but I am having to use a hand/palm full of this purple concoction and it still doesn't feel like my hair is clean. I have dry-normal hair%26 it is short?! Something is not right. I am needing to rinse%26repeat as someone with more oily hair would need to do. Formula is definitely subpar. Needs correcting. And why is there soooo much purple dye in here?! Absorbing all these chemicals in your hair, scalp, body and palms cannot be that healthy….
