Mattel Minecraft Diamond Level Pig Action Figure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Minecraft diamond level pig as a product review. My son's love playing Minecraft on their tablets and when they received the Minecraft diamond level pig he loved it. They have been playing with it nonstop.

She loves also displaying it on a shelf In her bedroom. She even used it with her Barbie dolls and had come up with so many creative imaginative things and uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves her Minecraft Diamond Level Pig set. She plays with it at home, at school and in the car. The Diamond Level Pig is a good size and made well. My daughter says it looks just like the pig in the Minecraft game. In her words, it's “super cool”. She highly recommends it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My seven-year-old son is a huge fan of Minecraft, and was very excited to play with this toy. Before playing with the toy itself, it should be mentioned that even just the “story” text on the back of the box had him laughing, leading to a great first impression as he wanted to recreate the scenario! The landscape inside the box was useful for that as well. As for the toy itself, he greatly enjoyed how the pig is fully articulated like in the game, and had a surprisingly good time just putting the pieces together in intended and unintended ways to play with it and extend the fun. The only “complaint” from him is that he wanted more pieces, but that's kids for you! He loved what was there!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were all surprized the moment we opened it to reveal a pig that stands almost 8mm high. This is NOT a mini figurine! The images are sublimated onto the plastic so it won't be worn away via playtime. (No stickers here!) The plastic is strong and durable, not cheap or flimsy. The pig is fully animated via legs and head that can move into many poses. It comes with a detachable saddle, carrot on a stick and pork filet, and well as a dirt minecraft block. My son enjoyed moving the pig around, then quickly removing it, making an axe noise, tossing the "pork" filet down and shouting, "Pork!" like his Minecraft character had just farmed it! The carrot on a stick is also very charming. Overall, I give this item TEN STARS for design, creativity, functionality, durability, charm, detail, engagement, enjoyment, value, and packaging (which was not difficult to open and was very detailed with rased edges to highlight "Minecraft"). The ONLY negative I would present was the writing of the details on the back of the package was diffcult to read both because of the font and small size in which it was printed.

The Diamond Level figures are bigger than the base 3.25 inch figures, but my kids still had fun playing with both together. The pig has a surprising amount of articulation/poseability. Fun bonuses: The story on the back of the box is hilarious, and the raw porkchop is BACON SCENTED! Awesome. Just don't let your dog get a whiff, or the porkchop may be gone!

On the other hand very nice toys that will hold up and are easy to use. I would recommend this toy to anyone with any other set of Minecraft toys

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son thought it was very good and very fun to play with. The pig was posable, but the pork chop did not smell like raw pork chop, it just smelled like plastic. Regardless he enjoyed playing with it and it was a good size pig.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Minecraft Diamond Level Pig as part of the Mattel Play, Rate & Review program. This set is fun for Minecrafters of all ages, but is a very simple playset overall. To start, the set includes the figure of the pig itself, a saddle, an uncooked pork chop, a dirt block, and a rod with a carrot on it. The parts are all large in size compared to smaller versions that have been available in the Minecraft toy line. The details on each piece are really well done and look as if they came straight from the game. The colors are injection molded or painted on and help to add to the game-like appearance. The small accessory pieces feel like a strong rubbery material that is durable and seems like it will hold up. The block and the pig are made of a solid plastic. Overall the feel of the toy and all accessories is good and it should hold up with various styles of play. Unfortunately, there isnt really much that i feel that can be done with the set alone, and really would benefit from having a character like Steve or Alex, or another set of some kind, to really get an enjoyable fun experience when it comes to play. Otherwise, it serves great as a set piece for a diorama or collection of sorts. Overall, i think this is a great and fun little set for any Minecrafter, and has fun to offer, but definitely should go with something else to maximize the experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very durable toy but doesn't offer much in terms of extras. It will withhold rough play! My kids love Minecraft and we're very excited to have a new toy to add to their collection. Would be better with some sounds.
