Mattel Minecraft Diamond Level Pig Action Figure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Minecraft diamond level pig as a product review. My son's love playing Minecraft on their tablets and when they received the Minecraft diamond level pig he loved it. They have been playing with it nonstop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a fun set! If your kids love Minecraft like mine, do, the cute pixelated animals are a huge part of the charm, and the Pig is no exception! The main figure Pig is loveable, poseable, and compatible with the Minecraft figures we already have. It's perfect for acting out all your Minecraft adventures off-screen! I was surprised by how much my big kiddo wanted to carry this pig all over the house with him, which he hasn't done with a toy since he was a toddler!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My seven-year-old son is a huge fan of Minecraft, and was very excited to play with this toy. Before playing with the toy itself, it should be mentioned that even just the “story” text on the back of the box had him laughing, leading to a great first impression as he wanted to recreate the scenario! The landscape inside the box was useful for that as well. As for the toy itself, he greatly enjoyed how the pig is fully articulated like in the game, and had a surprisingly good time just putting the pieces together in intended and unintended ways to play with it and extend the fun. The only “complaint” from him is that he wanted more pieces, but that's kids for you! He loved what was there!

Very enjoyable to stack with other toys and easy to grab for little hands. Seems to be part of a series, cannot wait to see what else we can find to add on to this set!

The Diamond Level figures are bigger than the base 3.25 inch figures, but my kids still had fun playing with both together. The pig has a surprising amount of articulation/poseability. Fun bonuses: The story on the back of the box is hilarious, and the raw porkchop is BACON SCENTED! Awesome. Just don't let your dog get a whiff, or the porkchop may be gone!

The Diamond Level Pig is a good size and made well. My daughter says it looks just like the pig in the Minecraft game. In her words, it's “super cool”. She highly recommends it.

My son enjoyed playing with it, and especially liked the pork chop accessory that was scented. My son likes playing the Minecraft video game so naturally he was excited to have this figure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Minecraft Diamond Level Pig as part of the Mattel Play, Rate & Review program. This set is fun for Minecrafters of all ages, but is a very simple playset overall. To start, the set includes the figure of the pig itself, a saddle, an uncooked pork chop, a dirt block, and a rod with a carrot on it. The parts are all large in size compared to smaller versions that have been available in the Minecraft toy line. The details on each piece are really well done and look as if they came straight from the game. The colors are injection molded or painted on and help to add to the game-like appearance. The small accessory pieces feel like a strong rubbery material that is durable and seems like it will hold up. The block and the pig are made of a solid plastic. Overall the feel of the toy and all accessories is good and it should hold up with various styles of play. Unfortunately, there isnt really much that i feel that can be done with the set alone, and really would benefit from having a character like Steve or Alex, or another set of some kind, to really get an enjoyable fun experience when it comes to play. Otherwise, it serves great as a set piece for a diorama or collection of sorts. Overall, i think this is a great and fun little set for any Minecrafter, and has fun to offer, but definitely should go with something else to maximize the experience.
