We just had a saltwater pool installed in our backyard and this was my first purchase for items to maintain the water. It was highly recommended to use for keeping the pool water from losing so much chlorine during to sunlight which can help in lowering operating costs. It's a good-sized bag (10 lbs) of 100% cyanuric acid. It calls for 2.5 lbs of stabilizer per 10,000 gallons to increase your cyanuric acid levels 30 ppm. Our pool is roughly 12,000 gallons so we will get a few uses out of this bag when needed.
excellent for pool balance, as good. if not better than something you would buy in a specialty pool store. this is no problem at all to dissolve, just pour it in through the skimmer. really quite happy with this. this it works very very well, highly recommended
My pool is not ready to be open yet, but this product makes me confident about making my pool ready for summer! After sitting all winter, I know there will be a lot needed to clean the pool and water, and this product should help my chlorine! I'm glad I decided on this stabilizer!
My husband has used this product in our above ground pool(26x52) and says it works great! Occasionally the pool gets algae around the inside pool steps and he has to treat with more chlorine along with the stabilizer stuff. Would recommend this item!
Last summer, I had a hard time keeping the chlorine levels balanced in our pool. I bought some cyanauric acid then, but it was a blend of other chemicals that didn't work well. As I'm opening the pool again for this summer, i bought this 100% acid and hoping for better results. It seems like it could've dissolved a little faster, but we'll see how things go and update if needed.
Protects chlorine from breaking down with UV rays from sunlight. Cyanuric Acid is the main ingredient. For salt water and chlorine pools. Wrapping is sturdy, reading instructions are easy.
The product arrived quickly and was well packaged. So far, everything looks great, and I'm looking forward to seeing how well it performs with the other chemicals I ordered for my pool.
came on time, and intact. great value honestly I'll have to update once I open the pool this summer on how well it works but hopeful. this will save me money in comparison to other products.
My mom uses this in her pool and she likes it. I will be getting it for her again for the summer. It's a large bag.
My son just opened up our above ground pool for the season. He says this helped a lot for stabilizing the water and made the process much easier.
