Love It!

Barbara G. August 4, 2021

My grandson loves his GoPro snd accessories. Sometimes the GoPro brand is a little more expensive but well worth it. You’re paying for a quality product that precisely fits your camera. So if you buy the GoPro brand camera just make sure to buy the GP brand accessories as well.

It’s not awkward :)

Jim P. November 23, 2022

My original opinion; It looks like it doesn’t extend far enough and the tripod legs don’t look sturdy. In my usage so far both my assumptions were incorrect. It extends long enough and the tripod legs keep it upright. Even when sitting on my backpack on a moving bus.

Material de plástico

Hernan M. December 16, 2025

La parte superior del trípode donde agarra la cámara es de material barato. Se me cayó el trípode de una altura como de dos pies y se quebró la parte donde ajusta el tornillo. El trípode es costoso y lo hacen con plástico

Extension locking system isn’t great.

Paul B. August 19, 2022

Honestly I’ve hardly used mine at all. 10 months latter, now finally on vacation and want to use? Well just forget it. You pull it out, twist to lock…. moments latter it drops down. Next time it won’t lock at all! Chips were down and I could even extend it! Now it’s broken. Yeah after that sort of money not impressed. I’m using my trusty Manfrotto tripod now. Never failed me.

Convenient but too fragile

pepperknx March 2, 2022

I used it for the first time during summertime and the stick didn't really like the water. The system of imbricated tubes that allows to extend the stick was stucked after the first dive into the pool and I had to wait it to dry to be able to unblock them and be able to retract the stick. Second use into the see, the plastic cap at the bottom of the stick went of, causing the two other tubes to go off, I had to glue it. I finally used it to film a ski session and the tubes blocked themselves and the cap went of again causing the tubes to separate one from each other. It was its last use.. As a conclusion, use it only to make some timelapses or while walking safely with your two legs on the ground but don't rely too much on it during sport session or during tough weather conditions. Could be really dangerous for the expensive camera fixed on it...

This item hasn’t gotten a review since 2024

Marc April 10, 2026

This item hasn’t gotten a review since 2024 Because it never comes back on stock. Feels like a way to tie you in to the subscription.

Weak material holding the camera

Jason March 5, 2024

I was pumped to use my GP Max with this selfie unit. I literally touched the snow and my GoPro broke off the end. Aluminum end would be better. Especially because of the price. The quick app has a lot of user issues as well. After my 4th GoPro I’m not happy with this product anymore. I might have to move on to a different video/camera.
