Max & Lily Twin Bed Frame with Trundle, Classic Solid Wood Platform Bed with Storage

Well made and pretty easy to put together and looks lovely!

It's real wood. It's easy to our together. It looks great and my daughter loves it. We went from a crib to this and it was a seamless transition. Often mom or dad sleeps on the trundle if she is scared. My kids love to jump from the bed to the trundle and it holds up.

I am extremely happy with this trundle bed! I love the design and the workmanship is impeccable. The bed is very sturdy and the trundle easily slides out with my fairly thin carpet. My husband did not have any issues putting it together by himself. He said the pictured directions were extremely helpful. I bought the two memory foam mattresses to go with it and I am very, very satisfied.

I would definitely check for damage after unpacking before assembly. The smell after unpacking lingered for about a week. The off gasing of the stain clear coat was very noticeable. The boxes smelled of cigarette smoke on arrival. If you've read this far I would still highly recommend this bed.

There are some aspects we love about this bed and others that we wish were a little better. The color is very pretty and looks really nice, especially in the sun. The actual frame that supports the mattress is solid wood and feels really nice. We also love the extra support beam that runs along the middle of the mattress area! One thing we wish was better is the material used for the slats on the headboard and the panel on the footboard. I'm not sure I would consider these to be the “solid wood” Max and Lily is known for. It feels very lightweight to us and doesn't have that heavy, solid look or feel we expected. Other than that, we are very happy with the bed!

We purchased this bed for when our grandchildren visit. It looks very nice and seems sturdy. The reason I didn't give it five stars is because of assembly instructions. Foreign made products really should have someone fluent in English write the instructions. We were left guessing what was intended because the assembly was mostly drawings. Also, the screw covers are stickers. Overall we like the bed and I would recommend it.

The reason I give this 4 stars is because the trundle wouldn't open and close very well with the mattress I had underneath. I ended up putting thick felt pads under the bed legs to raise it up.

order this bed and had to return it because missing parts no pre-drilled holes horrible experience
