[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the bed, but I think that one of the headboards is backwards. Meaning that the lip faces the wrong way. Once I realized this, I tried to find a way to fix the problem but it is not possible based on where the screw holes are. I’m hoping it does not affect the integrity of the structure. Please reach out if you can help.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very leery ordering two sets of bunk beds, especially with not seeing them in person first. . . I spent countless hours searching the Web for the perfect set of beds. . . What I gave most thought to, was what happens if there's a part missing, or damage and so on. . . Am I calling China? Or somewhere else where it'll never get resolved?. . . So. . . after reading the feedback from Max & Lilly, I pulled the trigger on two sets of twin bunk beds in dark blue for my Shore Summer Home. . . I did hire two men to put them together for me. . . I had hoped to do it myself, but my schedule didn't allow. . . It took the two of them 11 hours. . . I was glad I didn't do it! Lols. . . The color is perfect. The quality is also perfect! I am glad I used Max & Lilly would do so again and again. . . they are truly a quality act!
I bought this for my seven year old and three year old. I thought the bed was pricey but you get what you pay for and it was so worth every penny! Quality is fantastic and it's beautiful and my girls love it! I'm so thankful for this bunk bed 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids absolutely love their new bunk beds and I absolutely love the extra space they have to play in their smaller bedroom. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to maximize space if their kids share a small room.
it looks amazing let me say for atarters, ASSEMBLY WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!! the manufacturers dont want to pay extra for bigger boxes so every little thing is loose and challenging to keep together but the sturdiness is amazing! im 185 and even i was on the top bunk without and moving or shakiness! the bars at the top and bottom of the mattresses( the ones im pointing to w my finger) are VERY WOBBLY! i dont recommend it for small small bedrooms lol not extra space at all so we cant put up the ladder. im for certain and sure that the top bunk will not fall, super strudy and the alignment is top tier
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bed works well once you figure out how to configure the stairs with the bunk bed. Directions are opposite for the step portion necessitating taking the side of the bunk apart and flipping the stairs to the other side. Very frustrating. Also there were several dings in the wooden rails of the upper bunk.
I do love this bed, it just comes with a “but”. It's beautiful, sturdy, and strong. I feel comfortable and safe laying down on the top bunk with my kid, and together, we are over 300lbs (plus mattress and stuffies). I wouldn't say it was easy to build, nor was it exceptionally difficult. HOWEVER. The ladder hooks that attach the ladder to the bed are subpar. They started bending within weeks. After a couple months, one of the screws snapped off. Then the other one snapped off (I mean, the screw broke in half, with half the screw still in the wood). Max and Lily sent me replacement hooks with ONE screw for the broken one (not a full set of new screws for the hardware). However, it's going to take more than that, given that the snapped off screws are still in the wood where the new ones would go. I'm debating whether I use a hole drill to core out the screws, repair the holes with dowels, and then install the hooks, or geryrig a different way of attaching the ladder to the bed.
2 reasons I wouldn't purchase this bed again: 1) It's wobbly. No matter how much I tighten it, when climbing onto the top bunk or moving around up there, it still wobbles much more than I am comfortable with. 2) The natural color is much more yellow than I expected.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not thrilled. Confusion with all the emails. Can’t tell by the boxes if everything is there or not and I paid for install yet was not given option to schedule at the correct address. Also not sure the quality is going to be what I expected based on the size of the box. So far disappointed and would not recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has a very strong chemical smell. It is not suitable for children to sleep in. I am returning but have not yet heard from Max and Lily - they seem to be extremely slow at responding and hard to reach. Overall a pretty poor experience, very unimpressive.
