My 10 year lazy cat loves to play with this cute flappy bird! He's not one to jump up in the air when playing so the fact that this toy moves around on the floor with its flapping wings is perfect for my senior kitty. The feathers and chirping are enticing and the motor stays charged for a few days before it needs to be charged. It's a great engagement toy.

My cat adores it
I think it sounds a bit mechanical. It kind of looks like it's convulsing when it's switched on. It's heavier than I was expecting because the motor/charger has a bit of weight. I will keep an eye on it, but the velcro seems sturdy. Not sure I would personally recommend, but I must because my cat loves it (off, as well as switched on). I can always remove the motor later if needed and refill with catnip.

Worthy red bird
I like it automatically shuts off when not played with and turns on when touched. My cat didn't play with it, but my dog is mesmerized by it. She touches it. it flaps around when it stops, she stays on point until she is satisfied it is not going to move again. Velcro sticks tight. not lost a feather or any fuzz yet. Battery life seems good.

it gets kind of annoying after banging and bouncing on the floor but the cat seems amused by it
