I ordered these from walmart.com and picked them up at the site to store department. They were available to pick up the next day. Very affordable and he loves them; especially the interchangeable ear caps. These headphones are light weight and not bulky. Splash proof too, (not water proof). They have a controlled volume level at a 95 Decibel Peak which is good for younger ears. There is even a microphone for talking. He's always playing different games on his phone. Which makes these a perfect choice for him. He is 10 years old. A great buy!
yes, great for kids. between our 3 grandchildren, they can pick their own color, and as inexpensive as they were great for youngins.
These Maxell Kids Headphones work and fit great on my child's head. Sound is clear and very audible. They are adjustable for fitting and they come with cute colored round things near the ear part so you can change it for a different look. The adjustment fitting for the head is not loose like some other headphones I've tried and I'm an adult (I tried it on too). My 8 yr. old needed them for school and she didn't have one complaint on these headphones! I highly recommend them.
I know these are made for kids, but I am a small senior lady with a small head size. These fit my head and ears perfectly and they are very light weight! I listen to audio books on my ipod while I walk and the sound level is great. The fact that they are sturdy for kids and water resistant and sweat resistant is a great feature. I am very pleased with this item.
I was a little disappointed because I ordered before Christmas but they didn't get here in time, probably my mistake in being late in ordering but I didn't see them online before and I definitely did not see them in the store. I was excited about the price and the safety feature that keeps them from going up too loud and harming their little ears. My middle granddaughter will pick them up today and I know she will be delighted!
My 12 yr old loves these headphones. Adult headphones are a little too bulky for her so these fit perfect and she loves having the different color choices.
for this price you get a decent pair of headphones nothing too special with no bells or whistles.
So the Pros: the interchangeable color plates. Definitely, a nice touch for kids to get re-excited about the headphones. They fit perfectly on my toddlers head but I was also able to wear them pretty comfortably. It does what it says as far as not letting the volume go to a dangerous level. The Cons: When in a noisier environment you can not hear very well at all. The cord is ridiculously long. It was hanging all over my son's lap and dragging when he was walking around. Lastly, after having them for only two months with little usage , one side of the headphones went completely out. I guess it's an okay buy for the price if they work right.
The headphones don't work! My daughter is frustrated when trying to focus on learning or watching a movie on her tablet, because she cannot hear...the headphones are not worth the price...I want to take them back, but it's more trouble than they are worth...
The headphones work but are way too fragile for kids. My nephew broke his thr first day putting them on. Mind you, he has a largish head but the headphones are adjustable so they still fit. (Sis gave natural birth to this big headed boy with me in a headlock, serious multitasker) Regardless, they snapped like a raw spaghetti noodle. Don't recommend for kids, little or big headed.
