I think they are atteactrive and well made. Much heavier than I expected. They work out well for the children's daily/weekly reading without having to go to the full book collection. They pick out the books they want for the week and we put them in the bookends. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Highly recommend for anyone looking to clean up any books or magazines. I'm using with large and all books. They are on a table that cats are always jumping on and because the tongues of the bookend are the correct length, they do not come apart. Very decorative as well.

I ordered these two separate items in my pantry and to keep things from falling over. I ordered them because they were inexpensive and four were included. However, after receiving them, I would use them in my house where other people could see them.

very nice bookends. stylish %26 sturdy. tall enough for both paperback %26 hardcover books. books stay put, they do not slide back pushing book ends out. i give them 5 stars. great product with an even better price. highly recommend.

I felt that the quality of these book ends was surprisingly stable and held up some very large and heavy books. I was happy that they did the job they were supposed to. I would definitely recommend this product to others, especially those of you who have have books lol but in all seriousness, they definitely were worth the money and the quality far exceeded my expectations.

These small bookends will work for small books and maybe some larger hardback books (which will stand on their own). The metal is sturdy and not bad looking. However, for full size books (8 1/2 x 11), notebooks, binders etc, they're woefully over-matched.

this item was sold as 2 pair, 4 pieces. I only receive one piece. I would like the other 3 or credit my account for 3/4 of the sale price of this item. No one ever sells bookends as only one side. This was supposed to be 2 pairs - not one half of one pair. I am not happy with MaxGear.
