[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maxi Cosi Cassia Swing is a great product. It is light weight and easy to put together. It's design is simple but esthetically pleasing to the eye with a natural feel with its wood colored rim. The fabric material is soft and smooth. The buckle is sturdy to keep my child safe. There are 5 different swing speeds with a timer and 12 sounds that include soft music and nature sounds. The swing allowed me to have some time to do some work around the house while the baby is relaxing in the swing. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this swing to try.
The Cassia swing was incredibly easy to put together (about 4 steps total) and was much easier to assemble than the ingenuity swing I had for my firstborn. The swing is very lightweight and compact, making it really easy to move from room to room. It can be plugged in or run on 4 AA batteries. I like the idea of not tripping over cables so I'm currently utilizing the battery feature. The seat is nice and comfy and accommodates my 14 pound baby well with the removable infant insert. There are 5 speed settings that are pretty slow compared to some other swings, but my daughter (3 months old) likes it. The swing glides so smoothly and can be reclined or sat up. I think when it's in the upright position my little baby feels like a big girl because it seems to be her preference. The swing does a full 360 degree spin if you need to turn baby (which I like to do as I move around the kitchen). There are some lullabies that you can turn on, a timer, and a "detect motion" feature which is supposed to speed up the swing if baby appears irritable. The only thing that may be lacking is the mobile which consists of 2 soft toys that are not really eye catching and could really just be left off. My daughter hasn't even noticed it. Although I would be holding my daughter 24/7 if it were up to her, it's just not possible when I have to tend to my toddlers as well. This swing seems to keep my little one content during those times. I would highly recommend this swing.
I love this swing. First of all, the design is sleek. It is not extra, it is simple but very modern and classy design. The wood is beautiful. It is very easy to set up too. The swing is just perfect. No annoying sound when moving. It moves smoothly. The swing is not too heavy or big either. The only issue i have is I could use a longer cord but other than that, it's beautifully made. I feel like it can really lasts.
This is one of the best looking baby swings I have seen . Appearance wise I love the wood trim and gray it looks really nice. The swing itself is awesome . All the movement options on it are great . It's soo smooth and my daughter loves it. It's very quiet too. I've had some in the past that were so loud and noisy was hard for my kids to relax . The cassia is not loud at all . It's very easy to understand the button options and the seat shape is perfect. The fact i can adjust the seat to recline or swivel the chair to face me makes it so multifunctional . This swing has been a life safer keeping her safe and happy while I have her placed near by me .
I received this product for free from BzzAgent and Cassia. This swing is the bees knees. I have a 2 month old and he just loves it. I have tried a traditional rocking back and forth swing with him and usually he will sleep for like 20 mins in that. This with the ability to rock side to side, he just loves. It's a more natural motion like when holding the baby how you would rock them. That is most likely why he likes it much more. The color scheme is beautiful with with brown and grey and a bonus, it is gender neutral so no worries if you decide to not find out the baby's gender before birth, like we did. This swing also has the traditional vibrations and music/noise that are top notch. I highly recommend this for the future baby you are about to have or the one you already have that's struggling to sleep outside of your loving arms!
This is one of the best looking baby swings I have ever seen. I love the look and the style, it can go with any decor and isn't an eyesore like most swings. The swing does only go side to side, and I wish it would have more movement options like up and down or in circles. The music options are great and the 5 speeds are plenty. I would definitely choose this over any other swing out there.
I'm still in my third trimester, and although we're getting closer to the date, I haven't put the swing together yet. I have done a ton of research though and this is the best possible baby swing I could find. It does EVERYTHING. When your baby is fussy, the swing will "automatically know when and how to rock your baby." It has 360° rotation for nervous parents and wiggly babies. I cannot wait til my husband opens this and puts it together for me! I can already see it's one of the collapsible kind to save space. This is going to be my third, it never gets easier to not be a "helicopter" parent. They have come a LONG way in baby equipment since my first child!
When I received this swing I got rid of my 4moms momaroo because my baby did not have a preference between the two and I think the cassia swing is much better looking! Everyone that has been over to our house asks about it. We really have enjoyed the swing and like that there are different speeds and lullabies. The one this I dislike is the adjustable straps used to strap baby in. They are extremely difficult to adjust.
