Beautiful car seat! It's a little heavier than the safety first or Graco newborn car seats though.. and it's a little bigger. But the style Alan's how comfy it is, is top tier!
Absolutely stunning. Wanted navy blue everything for my newest addition and it is so beautiful and even had a leather strap on the handle!
Lightweight.. very beautiful perfect for premie as well
This car seat is incredibly disappointing and honestly dangerous. The overall construction feels unstable, and I would never trust it to protect my child in an accident. The so-called “padding” is mostly Styrofoam covered with thin, scratchy fabric, it offers no real support or comfort for an infant. My baby cried every time we put them in this seat, and I'm not surprised the hard, cheap material is extremely uncomfortable. The straps don't stay snug, and the seat wobbles no matter how tightly we install it. That's a major red flag for any parent. It's clear this product was made with cutting corners in mind, not safety or quality. Our children deserve better.
I've had this car seat for 3 months and it's already completely ripped off the seams.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very poor quality glue, we barely have 2 months of use and it no longer works, it does not give any security to my daughter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were gifted this carseat and have had so many issues with it. We had the original Maxi Cosi 5 in 1 travel system and that carseat was great for our first and to this day still works great, has held up fine (we use it in our other car). But this Mico Luxe infant carseat has come apart so many times. The sunshade/canopy constantly detaches and doesn't lock into place long enough for it to stay on, it's so flimsy and really frustrating. The fabric constantly comes off the top half of the car seat body and is so annoying to tuck back in, even tho there are plastic inserts to lock it into place. The plastic tabs are only on the sides of the carseat and not the top half (the top half is the one that consistently comes off). And lastly, the back of the carseat in general: the styrofoam detached from the plastic so easily and now it's not safe for use. All while we were just trying to tuck the fabric back into place. This carseat has given us so many issues/inconveniences.
DO NOT BUY! I wish I didn't have to give any stars. Have had this seat less than 3 months and is falling apart. I turned around to see the inner lining and canopy came completely unattached while my child was in the seat! How has this seat not been recalled
I have been using this car seat for 7 months. When it first came in the mail, I thought it looked so nice and looked to be good quality. First thing I noticed was the car seat is so hard to unlatch from the base to get it out of the car. The latch often gets stuck. You can't take your sleeping baby out in a seamless motion that doesn't wake them because of this. Second -don't even think about trying to take this car seat apart to wash it. Ever since I did, the cover will not stay over it- slipping down within minutes and exposing the plastic and styrofoam underneath. The overhead canopy/cover will not stay in place either. Third, this product needs seatbelt strap holders, it's such a simple thing to keep the straps out of the way when you're getting you baby in the car seat. For this price point I expected a better quality product.
Worst car seat ever keeps falling apart tried washing, it impossible to put back together. Canopy keeps popping out of place, car seat cover keeps falling off the top. Overall just feels extremely unsafe for an infant i would give a 0 if i could i advise to stay away from this car seat.
