Maxi-Cosi Tayla XP Travel System, Essential Black

My husband and I absolutely love the travel system! We are new parents and have looked around at a lot of brands and Maxi-Cosi kept catching our eye. We love that the travel system is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. We also love that it's not bulky and easy to use. Our little one arrives in August and we can't wait to use this!

This Travel System is amazing! The design is minimalist and very elegant. The Coral Infant Seat is very luxurious, well-padded and soft. The seat is well constructed, cozy and lightweight! Easy to lift and carry around when needed as the inner carrier can be detached to use when running errands. You can use the built-in handles or slip the crossbody strap around your shoulder and walk around with your baby hands-free. The Stroller is well made and sturdy and I like that it is reversible; my baby can either face me or look out at the world around him. It easily reclines back and can be used sitting-up as well. I just lean it back when my little one is sleepy or adjust upright when he is feeling curious and wants to explore and enjoy his surroundings. I live in a Suburban subdivision with lots of open space, trails and parks and we are out a lot. The all-wheel suspension with "smooth Ride" tire technology gives it a nice ride, keeping bumps and humps unnoticed. The handles are adjustable, which works for my height and the leather on the handle adds a nice touch. The storage/ basket is very spacious and could fit a diaper bag, blankets and other items that I find taking with me since there is so much space! Easy to get to, very accessible. The extendable mesh is nice to have; you can pull it down to fully cover your little one to keep cozy. I can see it working for insects & bugs, but I wish it were made of thicker material so it could protect more against the sun. Not a deal breaker, but it is also hard to zip the mesh back when not in use. Another feature that I like is the bumper bar. I use it to attach fun toys to the stroller to keep my baby entertained. It also gives him something to hold onto which keeps him safe when we go for walks. I highly recommend! It is style, comfort and safety in one great product. I received the Tayla XP Travel System a few weeks ago, and I am beyond ecstatic. I don't think I could have received a more perfect travel bundle, for both me and my 9 month old, sweet girl. Once it arrived, I was too excited to wait for my husband to get home, so I decided to take it out of the box myself for assembly. I was so proud to have it done independently, quickly, and easily, which is why it's great for any mom out there. Everything about it just feels upscale and luxurious. I truly feel as if I could call it the "Mercedes Benz of Travel Systems". It rolls smoothly, has the softest cushions, folds up quickly and efficiently, maneuvers sharp turns well, and locks perfectly and securely in my car. It's incredible and perfect for those frequently on the go, and the large shades keep my baby free of any weather element or insect we are faced with (which is a HUGE win in Central Florida). Plus, the look of it is just beautiful. It's mainly black, which appears sleek, and has beautiful brown leather handles. There are tiny pieces of turquoise on the sides of the car seat, but it's barely noticeable. As far as functionality, I don't think Maxi Cosa could've improved it anymore! The fact that it faces both forward and backward, attaches to the infant seat, and easily pops open and closed with one hand, is fantastic! I love that the leather bar is able to detach from both sides, making it easy to load and unload my baby. Plus, as stated before, it rolls as smooth as butter. It's just a breeze. Now that I have gotten ahold of one of these, I don't think I could ever go back to any other brand. I just cannot recommend it enough to others. I have already told all of my fellow mom friends, and humbly bragged in our group text (haha). If you get the chance, this is a MUST buy. I give it a complete 10/10. This is the most beautiful and lightweight stroller! I love thr cup holder detail on it which is hard to find! It is so easy to attach the car seat onto and makes it so easy for us mamas to carry around! I highly suggest this to anyone and I am so happy I found this amazing company!

I received the Maxi Cosi Tayla XP Travel System as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I have used 3 other travel systems (car seat, base, stroller caddy, and stroller seat) and this is by far my favorite! The system comes in a very large box but it very easy to put together and I barely had to reference the instructions. The base was one of the easiest I have ever installed into my car. I used the anchor straps to clip into my car's frame and then instead having to pull to get it to be as secure as possible, you just press down on the blue lever and it tightens the straps. There is also a leg that come down from the base to the floor of your car for extra security. The car seat is really nice and has this amazing feature where you can take out the inside insert of the car seat and carry it around on your shoulder. The shoulder strap is really neat and is like a bungee which makes it very comfortable. I've never seen this feature before and I think it's genius for when you just need to run into somewhere and don't want to lug around a heavy car seat. The stroller caddy part is nice, great functions and nice materials. It takes some getting used to closing and opening it, but you can do it with one hand as opposed to others I've used there you need both hands. It can stand up when you fold it which is nice for storage purposes. My only change is that I wish the basket underneath was bigger. All in all, this is a great travel system - very safe and nice bells and whistles. I would highly recommend it!

I absolutely love this system! The car seat has many comfortable carrying options. It's lightweight and easy to move around. I love that my baby looks so comfy with the fabric! The stroller folds up nicely and is simple to open. It's very smooth going on walks and easy to click the car seat into.

My baby and I both love this stroller! He loves how high and forward he sits, so he is part of the action. I love how easily the whole system works together and makes my life simple and still look good doing it. This is a really great system - it is intuitive to set up, has just the right level of features and is trying to address common pain points like how infant carriers always weigh a million pounds I received this through the Stellar Panel Product Testing and probably would not have picked it out on my own but I like it much better than my other stroller that I currently have - the UppaBaby Vista. Mainly because it is lighter ans easier to navigate.

Love this stroller system ! I've owned multiple strollers and car seats. After three kids you know what you want and what's best. After doing my research, i stumbled upon the Tayla XP and decided to invest in a good stroller system! I'm so glad i did! I love this strollers high quality material. The fabric is so soft for baby and i love that the fabric is reversible and you can use for either cold or hot climate. I also LOVE the car seat inner carrier. That's genius and that's what sold me. I hate carrying heavy car seats around, it's awkward to carry and heavy. This solved all of those problems. The basket is really spacious and fits lots of stuff! I love the leather handle, it's so fancy and beautiful. I love the privacy mesh. Not only helps baby if he's taking a nap in the stroller but also helps with mosquitos if you're out and about. The peekaboo screen is awesome too! This stroller has it ALL. For me, i found everything i wanted in this stroller. Light weight, compact, high quality, modern looking, expensive looking, convenient and easy to carry. I'd recommend this stroller to any mom who's looking for the best stroller out there.

The Tayla XP Travel System with Coral XP Infant Car Seat arrived for free from the stellar parent panel for us to try out and review and we are loving it. The stroller is sleek and easy to use. You're able to connect the car seat or just the stroller seat to it. The stroller seat can face out or towards you and has a great recline for naps. My favorite feature has to be the built in net that is hidden within the canopy and covers the baby entirely. Living in Houston aka mosquito city this is life changing. My other babies would get terrible mosquito bikes and this net will keep my baby safe from bug bites and give her some privacy when she naps. I'm loving it even more now during this pandemic. She just feels safer covered up. A rain cover was also included and very much appreciated. The only downside to this stroller for me is that once it collapses it's still pretty big. Takes up more space in my suv than other strollers. Probably wouldn't be the best for big grocery hauls. The car seat is like nothing I've ever seen before. It is amazing! This is baby number four and lugging around a car seat has always been my least favorite thing to do. Being able to detach the seat from the shell and carry my baby easily from one place to another by the straps is so easy and so light. Then you combine the crossbody strap and you are hands free!! The strap locks in so securely, I have no doubt that she's safe in there. And she loves it! She's so comfortable and still close enough to be happy. The only downside being that the canopy stays connected to the shell and I would really prefer she be covered and protected from germs when out in public. We have a trip coming up and plan on using this car seat knowing that carrying her in it will be a breeze.

I received the Tayla XP Travel System with Coral XP Infant Car Seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I love the idea of this car seat. I was stopped several times and asked about it. Others loved the idea too! An alternative to carrying a bucket seat handle that won't make your arms feel like they're going to fall off and hands free to carry baby items and maybe even hold your coffee, what an idea! I wanted to LOVE the carrying strap. While it's convenient, it isn't comfortable. I was able to carry my baby with the carrying strap while shopping. I was barely making it towards the end. The inner bucket seat is light weight and my 3 month old is a small baby around 12 lbs, but the positioning for the carrying strap has to be just right not to put pressure on my neck or shoulder. My husband found it somewhat more comfortable than I did, but definitely could feel it too, so maybe it's just personal preference. The carrying strap is removable and the discomfort doesn't outweigh the convenience, plus, it's great for rocking or gently bouncing a tired baby while walking around! My babe is extremely comfortable in the Coral XP. She cried every time she was buckled into her old, popular brand car seat. The Coral XP seems nicely hug my baby in the removable newborn padding and calms her. She did two 6 hour round-trip road trips this past month and mostly slept through both. In her old seat, she cried almost every 15 minute car ride. As for the Tayla XP, it's good as far as strollers. The manual says the baby needs to be able to sit up unassisted to be in the seat, so my 3 month old unable to test the stroller seat. We're looking forward to using as she grows for my favorite feature of the stroller: the built in bug netting that zips out of canopy! Stellar sent two additional adapters, one compatible with the Coral XP car seat bucket seat and one for the insert. The insert adapter was rather large and an additional piece to try to make room for in the trunk.
