Maxi-Cosi Tayla XP Travel System, Essential Black

This travel system is beautifully designed and I'm in love with it. I'm currently using this travel system for my 5-month-old son and there have been no complaints whatsoever which are huge in my book. This functional stroller is luxurious and I feel confident pushing this stroller around my neighborhood walks. I live in a sunny area, so the MaxShade extendable canopy is a great feature for my kid. I don't think I've seen strollers with a complete privacy shade cover for the entire seat! I initially didn't think much of the adjustable handle, but it's actually been super useful and practical for my husband and I - I'm short and he's taller than I am, so adjusting the handlebar to our comfort level was important when we go on for longer walks. Also, let's talk about the extra large basket on the bottom of the stroller! My toddler loves to collect all kinds of treasures when we go for walks - rocks, sticks, seeds, nuts, flowers, etc, and of course we can't forget snacks, water, extra pair of clothing because you know, a toddler. Also, with a 5 month old in tow, I also need to store the diaper backpack. I can wear it, but why should I if I can use the basket from the stroller. Everything fits perfectly in the basket! The base for the infant car seat was easy to install and my favorite feature of this travel system is how easy it is to fold and how lightweight it is compared to other strollers I've used in the past. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system!

When I received this from the Stellar Products Review Panel, I was THRILLED. Schlepping an infant car seat (even the lightest ones!) is so TOUGH on your body, especially as your baby gets bigger. Once they're no longer a newborn, it feels like carrying a ton of bricks, and I found myself taking my LO out of the seat every time. I had looked at this car seat, but didn't necessarily NEED to replace my infant car seat for my new baby, but had I trusted my gut I would have made the switch sooner. As with any new gear, getting the hang of taking the liner in and out, takes a little getting used to, but once I got it, I found it so simple. I was truly the envy of the pediatricians office with the car seat insert, everyone remembers the hassle of carrying a clunky infant car seat with a chunky baby inside! The stroller is also great, and felt even sturdier than one I owned in the past. I did not find it difficult to fold or get the car seat in and out of. I always recommend buying a travel system vs. a car seat and adapter, so I was happy to find this system worked so well. I loved the different seat recline options, and was happy it goes so far back, so even a small sleeping baby will be comfy in here. The last thing I loved (although there are MANY more): the latch system for the car seat installation! The tightness indicator is such a relief, I have never felt better about installing my car seat base. I highly recommend this travel system, and my experience with Maxi Cosi has always been positive. I find their strollers and car seats have the right balance of comfort/safety/features with durability you'll feel great about. This travel System is a great way to go for any new (or veteran!) parents.

My husband and I absolutely love the travel system! We are new parents and have looked around at a lot of brands and Maxi-Cosi kept catching our eye. We love that the travel system is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. We also love that it's not bulky and easy to use. Our little one arrives in August and we can't wait to use this!

With two kids on my hands I needed a travel system that is easy to maneuver and can be easily broken down with one hand and this travel system did not disappoint! I love that it also comes with a removable carry liner and strap so I can quickly and easily carry a sleeping newborn. The sleek design is also a huge plus--I'm proud to show off our new travel system!

We loved using this travel system! It was so easy to use. We used the seat for our 25 lb 2 year olds and the infant car seat attachment for our 5 week old! So simple to set up and the quality is amazing. The car seat is fantastic. We love how safe it is and how easy it is to grab the inner inset and go! We got so many compliments on it!! My daughters loved this stroller and were so happy in it! I love how easy it is to use and how light it is- makes such a difference! A big thank you to the Stellar Review Panel for sending us this to try!

After receiving this through the stellar product testing panel, I fell in love. Not just me, but my 8wk old too! The ease of on-the-go travel and seamless in and out feature that the car seat provides is unbeatable. We just took our first road trip, two hours, being able to easily pop her out and run into a store was so nice. Not having to worry about taking her out, putting on a coat, it was amazing. The stroller is our new favorite. We have another luxury brand and honestly, this one beats all. Everything can be done one handed. It's smoother than any other stroller we have or tested. I'd give this travel system ten stars if I could.

I am currently expecting baby #3 and I can honestly say this is by far the best travel system out there! I live the modern look, how light weight it is, and the many features both car seat and stroller has! Over al the quality is beyond amazing! We can't wait for baby to finally join us so we can use our Maxi Cosi!

This is the most beautiful and lightweight stroller! I love thr cup holder detail on it which is hard to find! It is so easy to attach the car seat onto and makes it so easy for us mamas to carry around! I highly suggest this to anyone and I am so happy I found this amazing company!

Thank you Stellar Testing Panel for the opportunity to try out the Tayla car seat! I always wondered if there was an innovative way to carry my baby in the car seat, other than by hand or heavily across my forearm... congrats Maxi Cosi! You guys did it. Haha. My favorite way was slung across my shoulder while I used my free hand to steady the seat while walking. My little one was happy and seemed content with his new carseat. The carseat was well made and designed nicely. I would definitely recommend this product!

Hard to use. The car seat gets really heavy when infant is inside and you're using the whole thing. An adapter is sold separate if you just want to use the carrier that's inside the car seat but that's another thing you have to buy. The stroller is really hard to open and close especially for grandparents. I wish I would of went with the Zelia instead.
