This is the best heating pad I've owned/used in my 7 decades on the planet. It covers my entire back and shoulder areas, encircles my neck and stays put. The heat generated is outstanding and really helps get rid of the aches and pains in my lower back and shoulders. At the highest level, the heat is almost too much, a happy problem I've not encountered with other heating pads. More than once I've been lulled to sleep while sitting upright in my chair, heating pad turned to max. Fortunately, auto shutoff kept me safe. I'm really glad I purchased the MaxKare heating pad.

The fact that this wraps around neck and shoulders is the reason why I bought this heating pad. And it's really helped me a lot already. It's easy to wear when I'm sitting at my desk. I was attempting to use a standard heating pad before I bought this Maxkare pad, and I had to use clothespins to hold it in place: and it was only helpful for doing one small area at a time. This covers everything that aches: back, neck, shoulders all get some heat therapy at the same time, which is awesome. I was surprised that it's so plushy: I've never had a heating pad that's so SOFT. And, I think it's weighted on the ends which helps hold it in place. This is the best thing I've bought for myself in a long time.

Love it! Second one I've bought. The first one lasted me quite a few years and it dying was more my fault than anything as it'd often get crunched up in my recliner couch. But I found reviews of similar on Amazon having enough negative reviews that I searched out the same one. The XL size is great!!! This new one heats up even warmer I think.

I bought this for my sister who suffers with arthritis in her neck and back and she loves it!! She uses it often and said it heats up really well. I purchased this based on reviews and it did not disappoint! Oh and it's a nice size. Make sure you look for the larger size one. Glad I paid attention to that? There is a smaller version.

I absolutely LOVE this heating pad. It's everything I need and have been looking for for years. It's NOT flannel as advertised though. It's a wonderfully soft, plush material. This will cover pain from your neck all the way to your lower back. The very best thing....it stays in place, even while sitting upright. The ties are long enough to go all the way around me too and I'm large. It has weighted edges at the front and at the bottom in the back which really helps keep it from falling or shifting. There's 2 adjustments at the neck so you can keep it tight or loose. I just can't say enough good things about this.

your heating pad from neck to lower back at the same time is the most unreal piece of pain relief for your body. there's no way to describe it fully , without trying it yourself,n that's coming from the original peacemaker. nothing I've tried even touches in comparison for my back pain!!!

I've tried several different brands and this one is the longest length to cover more of you're total back, the heating levels you can actually tell the difference between each level, it has a 2 hour safety shut off that as of right now is working fine so if i fall asleep I dont get burned. the only draw back i could say i found is the power switch for handicap people the power switch is remarkably easy to turn off and on it is just a slight pressure tap but that is also it's down fall as you can roll onto the switch and it comes back on. i have an older small dog and she has figured out how to push the button and then she lays on it until it gets cooler then she will either go lay somewhere else or she'll push the button for another round

This is definitely one of the best small investments I've made in years! It covers my neck, shoulders and complete back in wonderful warmth or heat. Reduces pain significantly and is so soothing on thos3 days when just about everything hurts, Definetly two thumbs up!

I have been using these neck heating pads for years. I never can find one that's got all the things I like, but with this one, its biggest benefit is that it's light weight. if the problems with your neck are bad enough, you know that lifting a heavy heating pad onto your neck is not going to be easy and could also do more damage. It does have a little bit in places it needs to weigh down but overall it's very easy to move around as needed. The downside- When I first got it the temp was perfect for me, but I need mine to get really hot. 2 or 3 weeks in now though, and the temp is inconsistent. Some days it's perfect, sometimes the high temp feels like the low temp. I would suggest getting the warranty with it. These types of heating pads usually only last me a year, and that's with any brand, so a 2 year warranty is worth it. Overall though, this is one of the best heating pads Ive had, I'm just getting frustrated with the inconsistent temp

These heating pads only last about 6 months! It worked amazingly at the beginning but in approximately month 5, it stops heating! I have bought three heating pads, same brand with Walmart, giving the brand 3 opportunities and all 3 times it failed lasting only a few months. Very disappointing !
