Just what I needed!

Misty December 6, 2022

Love the feel, not snagging like others. Multiple warm settings. I use it every day.

Electric blanket review

anonymous February 12, 2025

Very soft and snuggly blanket that works great. I love that it has the same material on both sides !

Pretty, but probably dangerous.

Vivian March 14, 2026

The blanket is very soft and pretty. It was placed on the bed and turned on to a medium setting. The heat was great. The control box (where you put in the settings you want) soon became hot enough to burn you. And yes, it was plugged in and set properly. The blanket did not overheat, just the controller. The blanket also shed terribly.

Great blanket!

SANDRA March 25, 2026

I purchased this for my 14 year old grandbaby because she is always complaining about being cold in her house (valid complaint, by the way, becauseit is always cold there). She gave it high marks for the heating and the softness. She practically lives in it at soon as she gets home from school or when she decides to finally get up on weekends. IYKYK. This was definitely a great purchase!

Not An Official Maxkare, But Imitation Product?

Chelsea November 20, 2023

I purchased a Maxkare in the past and loved it dearly until a power surge killed it. I was okay with that. User error leaving it in the outlet. I tried to buy another and when I compared the labels of the two, I saw one (my old one) bore the official MaxKare logo and the other did not...so I'm concerned it was not an official Maxkare product. Observe in the photo, how the old one (left) shows the Maxkare mark and I didn't have issues with it, but the new one does not bear a Maxkare label and I have issues I didn't have with Maxkare's official product. Seems to have the marks of an imitation. My first one stayed on full heat continually and I never had a problem with a hot cord. But the new one (though it 'does' get hot, thankfully) makes the cord very, very hot which again raises the question of its authenticity. Seems cheaper in quality therefore. The blankets might not be official Maxkare blankets, but claiming they are authentic on the website and are another product entirely. I do enjoy the blanket, (it gets hot, and is comfy and suitable even when turned off) aside from an overheated cord, but the durability is questionable since it does not seem to be an official Maxkare product as listed.

NOT A TRUE MAXCARE PRODUCT

Tianna November 28, 2024

This item IS NOT a true Maxcare brand item. I bought this because Maxcare is the only brand I found works the longest. This has extreme heat spots, and some places don't work at all. This is a cheap knockoff and nowhere on the box or tag does it say Maxcare like a true Maxcare blanket has. Returning Immediately.

stopped working after the first use

Katherine September 7, 2025

everything was fine with it. I liked the heating temperature however the heating was uneven and the coils are thick. after the first use it stopped working. I tried everything it is not working and returning. It is a hassle so I just decided to keep it as a normal blanket. Do not waste your money. I repeat all in caps DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

BEWARE

Marie February 13, 2024

My mom had this blanket on her bed, and I noticed, as I was making her bed there was a huge burn mark. Please see the pictures below. Something happened and the wires were burning through. Contacted the company and they said sorry, CANT help you call Walmart. I said Walmart only sold a blanket, they did not manufacture it.
