this blanket came in a vacuum seal package in the box. I got the queen size, this one has double controls, and have its own plugs and plugs for the wall. which is better then our last electric blanket. this blanket is very soft l, and feels wonderful on the skin, it has a pattern in it that makes it more pleasing but not bumpy. last night was down in the 30s and I put it on level 2 for a bit. you can set the timer. I put mine on for 6 hours and then it turned off automatically. my husband stays cold and he had his on 9 all night. I did not feel his warmth level. I am also going thru menopause so that could be why as well. I would definitely recommend this. I have a all seasons comforter I put in top of this blanket not that it needs it but mainly because hubby gets cold, he also has nerve issues. This blanket is AMAZING!!

does not get overly hot, just a nice gentle heat like you get first thing when you wake uo and don't want to get out of bed so youre not constantly turning it off to cool down like other brands. It is also a beautiful pattern, I reccomend this blanket.

I purchased this blanket as a gift for a friend and he absolutely loves it. It is very soft and comfortable to lay under while giving off the warmth that you are needing. I recommend this for anyone looking for a heated blanket.

This is a warm blanket even without the heat. I love the dual control. I like my sleep temp to be cool so I haven't had to use more than a 3 out of 10 setting yet. My partner does use a warmer setting but not past 4. The heating is substantial and uniform, no cold spots.

Wow this thing is awesome. Much less expensive than the one that just failed us. Doesn't have the dead spot in the center. The controls for each side are very light so they don't stay put real well'cause they don't have any weight to them. But otherwise I can't think of one thing to complain about. Loving it

I would still recommend it but I thought it would be a little thicker material. The heat is ok. I have a heated throw by the same company and it is awesome! Comparing to it the queen is not as good but still better than the other brands.

it doesnt get all that warm. i feel like ice all the time the last one i bought last yr was great this one does not give out the heat will test it a day or so but its heavy but not enough heat

I loved the controllers -- easy to use/push considering I have bad arthritis so I was happy plugging it in but it didn't get even slightly warm. Later I tried again and it finally began to warm. Great. First night, no problem but then one controller registered an ERROR on both the timer and the temp. Unplugged, plugged back in. Ok again. Then last night when the temps were 15 degrees, EVERY TWO HOURS the controllers would SHUT OFF -- no heat-- and would register ERROR. I'd have to get out of bed in a cold room to unplug again then re-plug to get heat only to lose all heat again exactly 2 hours later!!! This is a nightmare. As soon as the roads de-ice later this week, THIS substandard "electric" blanket's going back SAVE YOUR MONEY -- don't buy it! Can't wait for the new nightmare: returning %26 getting my money back. /s/

Two separate cords for power. Requires 2 outlets, one on each side of the bed. Cords all over the place. Then.... only one side worked properly. One side goes haywire on the control mechanism and keeps going to "E" - for error I think? Not working correctly, so then worries me that there could be a short. Fire hazard?
