There is a noticeable difference between the Mist filter versus the generic knockoff I bought the last time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this water filter for my Samsung fridge, because my fridge and I'm sure most new ones have a filter system installed to help you get clean, fresh tasting water and ice. I really love this feature and I can actually tell the difference from using water from my fridge as to water from my sink. They are very easy to install and it only takes a few seconds. It filters out up to 80% contaminants. I highly recommend to everyone with that is able to use water filters with your fridge, to use them, You will be able to tell the difference and you will not regret it. This is a great product!

After trying a different brand once, we learned that our family likes Mist water filters because the water always tastes the same after every change. It is also pretty easy to change.

i followed all of the instructions with finding the proper replacement and thought buying lower grade was inadvertently the better choice. As i am trying to count all of my pennies in this economy. the replacement did not work. the alarm keeps going off on my refrigerator and the water line isnt even plugged in!! There is nothing wrong with this product! im sure it is a great product however i am just going to pay the outragious price for the original refrigerator part.
