Maybelline Color Sensational Cream Finish Lipstick, Warm Me Up

If you are looking for a black matte, long wearing, no smudge lipstick, this isn't the one. But if you want a black lipstick and know how to manage it to your liking, this will we work. I wear a matte lip liner when wearing this shade of black. The lipstick does smudge while applying on its own, but I tend to wear black eyeshadow over my lips with whichever shade of black lipstick I may wear. While wearing on its own, it will fade into this light grey. It's not a long lasting lipstick, but we all carry the lipstick we wear for that day. Doesn't dry out your lips and it's not sticky. Easy to remove, too.

I've been wearing this shade for many years, I use to buy expensive ones and to me this one bets all the others . Price very reasonable. Leaves your lips hydrated creamy and a bit of shine you don't even feel over all satisfaction.

I liked the quality and the color. It is not too creamy, not too matte, not too shiny, it has just the right amount of shine (or this is the way I perceive it). From distance I would not think of it as a shinny pink. As for the color, it is a nice and fresh pink, slightly dusty, but not too dusty, not too intense but definitely not pale, darker and more pink than a neutral blush. The pink shade is close to how it is shown on the Walmart site (at least on my monitor looks very close). I have used this shade most of the time for several years, especially when I looked a little bit tired or pale. I really cannot go out without any lipstick, so this one is the best that works for me as a casual lipstick now. I tried in the past a wide range of brands and pink shades and it is very hard to find one that works for me. So far Maybelline "Pink for me" %23 376 is the closest shade to a perfect pink for me.

The Maybelline New York Color in Romantic Rose #450 is a lipstick I love. The color is a light rose (almost mauve), which is shown in the pictures I took. The lipstick case is convienant and can be easily stored in my purse. The texture is silky and has a shine to it. I would not categorize this as a matte lipstick. It does have a glossy finish, which I enjoy. It pairs with my wardrobe and can be worn in any season. When applying, the lipstick glided onto my lips and created a smooth and creamy finish. This lipstick is long wearing and perfect for everyday use. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a "go-to" lipstick that will always be in style and feel good!

Definitely do not buy online. I purchased Warm me Up and it looks nothing like online. Way more pink than mauve. Not my color and very disappointing. Purchase in store so you can see the actual color.

I winter a black lipstick and it's more of a tint even after a bunch of layers and it has a weird purple hint to it and I saw purple glitter and I hate the formula and it comes off very easy definitely not like the ones you see in the video before you buy

I was excited to get the Maybelline New York Color Sensational Lip Color in Romantic Rose because the color was so pretty online. It appeared to be a plum-pink color on my computer screen. When I opened up the tube it did look different but still a color I would like to wear, so I tried it on. I have to say I found it to be extremely disappointing. The mauve-y-taupe pink that the color looked like from the tube instantly appeared to be a frosted, 50’s pink once I had it on. It looked ridiculous, almost like costume makeup. The taste of the lipstick also leaves a lot to be desired. Its taste was something along the lines of metallic lotion. I don’t know why Maybelline makes their lipsticks that way but if other manufacturers can create a formula that doesn’t taste like anything; they should be able to do so as well. It did seem very creamy and hydrating so at least there’s that. My friend that has a dark complexion said that the color looked similar to one she’s had before so I gave it to her. I’m more medium/golden toned so it was silly for me to wear, to say the least. I uploaded a picture of me wearing the color and I promise that it looks better in the photo than it does in person!
