Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Matte Liquid Lipstick, Nude Thrill

I loved this lip gloss. It's a really pretty color. It's not insanely bright either. It's the perfect pink for my skin tone. The lip gloss itself is really creamy. And it glides on your lips without leaving blank spots or leaving chunks of gloss in spots. It looks bright and shiny in the tube but it's not a really glossy color. And it didn't run all over either. It was a stay in place color. I drank with it on and it didn't come off on the cup. I really like that. I'm definitely going to try other colors.

It's smooth, the colors are beautiful, the only problem I have is that it smells strongly of perfume. But other than that it's perfect.

I don't normally wear lipstick I am a chap stick person so as a Walmart Spark Reviewer I decided to try this Maybelline Vivid matte liquid. I did not know what to expect of a matte lipstick but I tried out #10 nude flush because nudes are in these days. The lipstick is in a nice compact container. I don't like my make up to have a smell though this lip liquids smell was not overpowering it was light sweet, yet tolerable. The applicators tip is thin enough to make a perfect outline of your lips but also wide enough to get an even spread along your lips with just one swipe, very cool. When you first apply it, it goes on feeling really smooth and creamy. I thought that it would be dry but it kind of has that wet gloss look, it doesn't dry completely but after less than one minute it tones down some I LIKE that. For hours after application my lips still felt soft and I had to check to see if it was still on. Four or five hours in I did notice fading and some feathering, flaking on the edges of my lips and I had to wipe off and re apply. Cons: Overall I don't think this color quite suites my complexion so I would probably by a different color.

I like when first put on it seems purple but when blot it turns pinkish purple. It does stay on after blotting but d oes not last all day.

I received the Maybelline New York Color Sensational Vivid Matte Liquid Lip Color, 0.26 fl oz - Nude Flush free for doing a review on it. I haven't bought a new lipstick for years and have been looking for something that I would like. I DO like this lip color because the applicator is shaped for the contours of my lips. That means that it goes on smoothly with only one application on each lip. The coverage is wonderful in that there are no cracks left unfilled, I guess the matte formulation does that. I was surprised at the length of time that my lips stayed moist, even after the day wore on and my color was wearing off, my lips felt very good, not dry like they are normally when I do not wear lipstick or when wearing pastie lipsticks. This, without anything extra, all in one application of the glide on liquid lip color, which HAS in fact Sensational Vivid Color. I love the color! The only con to this lipstick is that it leaves lipstick on coffee cups, but since it is so moist, it wipes off easily rather than the need to scrub it off as with pastie lipsticks. I definitely would recommend this lipstick to my female friends and for my male friends to buy it for their female significant others.

I am not a big make up fan and lips are the most I will do. I was so exited when I selected this product and in exchange I am to provide my honest feedback. I am and was not happy with this product at all. It is very dull. I like the shiny lip products. So to get this product and still need to add some gloss to make it pop, I was not happy about that because that is one extra thing I have to carry. However, I did really enjoy the color. The color is very pretty on me. In addition, I did not really care for the texture of the liquid lip color. I think it may be a little too thick. A pro for this lip color is that it is long lasting. That is something I really liked about it but I did not like the fact that it is a little tough to get off your lips. I had to wipe it a few times with a napkin while I was out to eat. Overall, this is not something I see myself buying.
