Maybelline Color Strike Cream-to-Powder Eye Shadow Pen Makeup, Spark

This is the perfect eyeshadow collection for our collective beauty. It is compact, amazingly soft application, and incredible color choices. When you buy a pallette there may be colors that are too light or too dark. I love choice, and after trying the pink more color choices are immienent. Perfect for senior woman with delicate skin.

I've never been a big eye shadow person . . . but I LOVE this product! I bought the "Charm" so it's not bold by any means (I'm 46--I'm going for subtle and flattering), but it covers well and the pigment is strong. Now--I just got it, so I haven't encountered the problem that another reviewer mentioned about not being able to get all of the product out of the bottom. I can see where that might be an issue. But that wouldn't prevent me from trying this in another color. I really like the applicator and the quality of the eye shadow--plus there's no danger of dropping it and ending up with a box of pink crumbs. :) I'll buy this again!

Have been looking for a cream to powder shadow for awhile. This has everything, doesn't crease, very silky and smooth to use. Gives you lots of time before it "sets" lasts until you take it off. A winner.

This stuff is magical. It doesnt drop powder all over when youre going to apply it. It stays put. It's highly pigmented. I bought five shades. Love them all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this eyeshadow. I got pink glitter but I don't like the application or the tube. It's hard to get the product out of the tube and I have to retwist it closed in order to get more product which is a pain to do for both eyes. Overall I love the color but needs a better tube.

I have now bought this product in the shade 20 Charm as I was worried that maybe the first one I bought was faulty. There is no way that this product is ever going to produce enough pigment to match the image on the box. The shade is such a pale, neutral pink that it is hard to see, even when layers and layer are applied. The other shades are far more effective and are easy to apply. But I was so exited to have found the perfect pink eye shadow, according to the images on the packaging, and so disappointed by the result.

I should have read the reviews first. I was surprised to see how short the wand was and dry the tip of the applicator was. According to your pictures on your website it looks like this wand has the foam applicator and a pen like shape on the other end. At any rate, I'll need to use a q-tip to get the rest of the product out. Next time, I'll just get shadow in the palette type container. Not impressed with this product.

The picture on the box looks nothing like the application in real life. I used primer and tried to make it match the lovely pic on the package but alas. No pigment, does NOT go on smoothly, had to stick another brush in there to try and pick up color and even that failed to provide any intensity at all. This was a complete waste.

The sponge of this eyeshadow pen just doesnt allow for any product to come out or onto the eyelid. This should have been road tested more by Maybelline before releasing it. Unfortunately with Covid there are no testers to try before you buy so as consumers we are doubly disadvantaged. Chemist Warehouse have passed the buck to Maybelline Australia but doubt any refunds will be forthcoming. Never had an issue with any Maybelline products in the past. This one is a fail!.

I like the idea of this product, but I am disappointed in what it actually is. The color is perfect, I purchased Spark, a rosy pink. It should be easy to quickly apply on the lids, but the amount of product in the tube is so limiting. I need to put the applicator back in the tube to get more product two or three times per lid. Will not be buying this again, not a good value for the money.
