Maybelline Expert Wear Single Eyeshadow,

The product is great. I love the Tastefully Taupe color. It deserves 5 stars. However, I gave 2 stars because Maybelline made a poor business decision to not include the applicator now. I, too, thought this was a manufacturer mistake until I read the reviews here. Please bring back the applicator. It also looks ridiculous to have an empty compartment where the applicator is supposed to be.

Second time I have bought 3 different colors of eyeshadow with NO applicator I thought the first time was just a defect by the applicator not being in there I wished I would have come here sooner as I would have known you decided to take it out I would have not bought from maybelline again! Price is no different without the applicator

I also have been a loyal customer for many years and am very dissapointed that they no longer have a applicator with their eyeshadow. I assumed that it somehow got accidientlly missed in the production line and when I bought another I relized that this is no longer offered with there eyeshadows. I will not be using my finger and will not be a customer any longer. Bad move maybelline!!

NO APPLICATOR in order to "protect the planet." What is the point of selling this since there is no way to apply it? Daa. I guess you don't care if people can use this or not. Just sell them something and they can throw it in the trash unused. How does that protect the planet? (Further, it is not disclosed there is no applicator). I have used this product for many years. Too bad you killed it.

My friends tease me as I've worn “drugstore” brands for years - mainly Maybelline eye shadows. Much to my chagrin, my new palette does not include an applicator!! What?? It's silly to expect one to apply with your finger or worse, another brands applicator. Bad move. I'll now be returning my recent purchase and visit the department store counter. Your decision makers certainly don't know your customer base.

Loved this eyeshadow for 20 years, but Maybelline has made the extremely poor decision to stop including an applicator. To make matters worse, they didn't change the package or give customers any indication that there is no applicator in the package.

I will NEVER purchase Maybelline eye shadow again. I have worn this eyeshadow for a VERY long time (I am 70) so imagine my surprise when I bought two new eyeshadows FULLY expecting the same product and neither having an applicator. Had this been noted on the product I NEVER would have purchased these eyeshadows. I feel duped! Shame on Maybelline for not being transparent about this change.

I have been buying Maybelline for decades and wanted a single color eyeshadow. I bought the Glo Down and boy was I disappointed! Not only is the color too light for lids but the applicator is missing! I thought it was a manufacturing error until I see the company cheaped out. No way am I going to use my finger. And I will look for a different company from now on. This was a waste of money.

I alwaysn have used this product in the past but I was very disspointed when I recently purchased this eye shadow and found there was no applicator included anymore. What good is the eye shadow without the applicator!! and for the price of the eye shadow an applicator should be included!! I will definately not be purchasing your products any longer!!

No applicator in the package. Very deceiving because the package covers this up, was unaware that I needed to buy an applicator!!
