Maybelline Great Lash Curved Brush Washable Mascara, Blackest Black

I have used Maybelline Great Lash Curved Brush Washable Mascara, Blackest Black for as long as I've used mascara...for decades! I can't remember using any other mascara -- perhaps another Maybelline Great Lash mascara. I like the curved brush (i also use an eyelash curler). It's just right for me: not too much or too little; I don't feel the need to try other mascaras.

There is a reason that maybelline has been making this mascara for ages - it is tried and true staple. Admittedly, I have tried others over the years and while some of them are great, none of them seem to meet the quality for the price. I do often swich which version I purchase (curved applicator, thicker applicator, etc). I seem to always come back to the brand....

I was tired of buying high-priced mascara that always clumped. So, I decided to revisit the 70s and purchased what we all used in high school. And guess what? It's still as great as it was back then—just a little bit more expensive, but not by much.

Maybelline Great Lash has been my go-to mascara for my entire adult life. I love it's consistency. It is easy to apply, without clumping or flaking. Great stuff!

Been using this brand since it cost 1.50 a tube only issue l have is that you don't know how old it is when you buy it. It tends to not last long after opening.

I love this mascara! I am a faithful Maybelline Great Lash customer. . . . . it's better than department stores brand and at less than $5.00 how can you beat it? This was the fisrt time I used a great lash with the curved brush and I really liked it. I felt like I have more control in where the mascara was placed in the lash . . .went on nice a smooth! I even got a compliment on my eyes this morning! The best part: at the end of the day I won't have the flakes under my eye . . . it lasts all day!

I've been using Maybelline mascara for many years, but I'm tempted to return this tube! It seems like there's barely any mascara on the brush. I bought it brand new and it doesn't appear to be dried up. There's just barely any mascara on the brush after "dipping" the brush in the tube

Wanted a cheap mascara for on the run and this is an oldie but goodie for most. However, it barely coats the lashes, isn't very buildable and creates no volume. Very disappointing. Would've been better off spending the extra few bucks on a different brand.

I used to love this stuff - I don't know what happened. Application is still nice, but no matter what I do, I have black eyes only a few hours after application - I remove the transfer but still, continues to transfer until the end of the day - skin transfer when dry is relentlessly happening all throughout the day. So disappointing. Bad quality. It also burns my eyes and is hard to wash away despite transferring upon contact all day long. I have to wash my eyes three times a with a cold cream process to remove a daily use.
