Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Washable Mascara, High Intensity, Plum Twilight

I am blessed to have good lashes, but I hate clumpy and smudgy mascaras. This one doesn't do either! The Waterproof stays put... On the upper and lower lashes, and it's easy to apply. It holds a curl after using a lash curler, which is a good thing in my opinion... A lot of non waterproof mascaras (especially when they are new and they are especially 'wet') will drop a freshly curled lash. Very frustrating, and I have an impossible time with trying to recurl once mascara is done with. Plus I am a one - coat person... Anymore than that and it looks like I put the whole tube on my eye! Lol! I do not need to apply more than one coat. I have to use a good remover to get it off... Garnier is my favorite. I sometimes follow up with a bit of coconut oil and every bit of the mascara comes off. It's been a long time since I have been in touch with Maybelline mascara and now I have found my holy grail waterproof one with this one!

I have had a hard time finding a decent mascara since Covid. Seems like post-covid brought out all the old stale mascara from the warehouses. I have purchased numerous tubes of different mascara and all of them were thick and hard to get on. Then the ones that were moist enough to get some on your lashes would start drying out within a 5-6 uses. One tube is a primer. It has tint, which for me was good by itself. My lashes, brows and hair are light, so the lighter primer was good, but I still used the mascara after the primer dried. I usually waited around 10 minutes for it to dry. It made my short eyelashes look longer. I'm very happy with this and will probably use it until they quit making it. Oh, The brushes were easy to use and you could get to all your lashes without making a mess on your eyes and face.

As a almost 60 year old woman who is learning to try looking great without all the fancy steps most of us woman used in our younger years and are discovering that those same products we were faithful to for years are no longer showing the same effects we have become accustomed to. I decided to try some new to me products. Or actually colors of products I’ve used many times. I gave up black mascara and eyeliner years ago for softer grays. I’ve recently started using blackberry and burgundy’s. It gives a much more natural look without the “red eye” appearance I was afraid it would. If I decide on eyeshadows, I go with soft natural colors that brighten my eyes and face. I may not get away with the bright Madonna look anymore, but I finally feel a natural beauty that I never felt in my youth.

I just tried this mascara. Be advised, I basicly only use maybelline. cant break away from it. This Sky High mascara is great !! It does exactly what the advertisement on you tube and TV played out. I got the washable one. I like the waterproof one but hate having to use a solution to clean it off. The washable one comes off in the shower with my Dove regular soap.

I love maybel)ine mascara, for 50 years! sky High sells itself! I received compliments and they went out and bought it. gives you long, lush eyelashes! Never glumps. easy to apply. the ladies that buy come by to show me how nice they look! with it on and love ❤️ it. Perfect!

I love this mascara! It’s my go to mascara! Makes my lashes long and thick, with a few coats. It’s not clumpy, but smooth. I have used very black, and just black, never waterproof, too hard to get off. The regular mascara comes off with ease. I wish it lasted a bit longer, but I use it a lot and with a couple of coats. The good thing is I can tell when I need a new one, it starts getting clumpy when I apply it. I have tried more expensive mascara ($30) for mature eyes, it’s too expensive! I went back to sky high in a flat minute! Good value at $9.99! The wand is sturdy and the brush parts my lashes perfectly

I got the waterproof. awesome performance, it stays on thru everything! Really like it! am undecided about 2nd purchase. was hoping the brush was in the design of the original Maybelline mascara brush, which the pic kinda implied. message to Maybelline: the original brush you created is the brush that tops all other designed by anyone! you should patent and use it for each and every one of your mascara products!!! the only other thing I don't like is that it takes a little too long to dry between coats. (apply, refill your coffee, apply 2nd coat, make sure the animals have water in their dishes, decide if you need touch up or 3rd coat - lol) However, I highly recommend 3 coats, if you're willing to be patient. Your lashes will look absolutely beautiful, long, full, and luscious! no smudges and no smears - it's actually ,truly extremely waterproof!

I wanted to give this mascara a try again...I do like that you can purchase it with the primer. The brushes though tend to make my lashes stick together and I have to use a lash comb to separate them-this can be messy each time. I like the brushes that are more like wire; this helps avoid spider eyes because these separate better. Mascara quality is fine as well as the tinted primer so that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 3. .

I’ve used Maybelline mascara for years- this is like wearing glue on your lashes- it’s nothing like previous mascara they’ve offered and I’m disappointed. It is very black and it does go on ok, and looks fairly nice, but it takes a lot to get it off and it feels very heavy compared to other versions of their mascara.

The primer doesn’t do much. It’s extremely subtle. Does not go “Sky High”. I’ve put several coats on and there’s about zero difference using the primer as opposed to not using it, my lashes looked the same with and without the primer. I hate the bristles on the brush, they are thick plastic spikes, not at all like an actual brush. Very disappointing.
