it does what i wanted to coverage and application
I was very pleasantly surprised that this really works! I used it today and I have NEVER had such wonderful coverage. If I could, I would use it as a base for my foundation, that's how good it covered under my eyes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this one and the apricot colored one. This was perfect to receive for free from Influenster, just in time when I was running out of my other Maybelline color correcting face primer. The apricot corrector works great, it gives great coverage for dark circles. The green completely covers any redness I have and brightens the area well. I actually tried these under my eyes also and it brightens it a lot without looking like I lacked some sleep the night before. I love that the pens are so compact and easy to apply and use. I will continue to use color correcting products from Maybelline.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really surprised by this product. The product is so smooth and creamy and very pigmented! When I received them complimentary in my box I immediately tested them on my hand, let it sit for a little bit. I wet a paper towel and wiped my hand and no product came off. I scrubbed the back of my hand with the wet towel and still, no product came off. I was amazed! I've been using both colors when I do my makeup and they cover my skin imperfections great! I really truly like this product and how it works and lasts. The only thing that could be improved is the packaging. It's so hard to get product out and when it comes out, it's more than I need. But the product itself, I would definitely recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am on the fence with this product. I have very fair skin and found that shade 50 (apricot for dark circles, light to medium skin tones) was WAY to dark and pigmented. It may work on darker skin tones, but for me it just did not work. It was not the peach color that I would normally go for to color correct dark circles! However, shade 10 (green for redness, all skin tones) I LOVED! It was bendable and not overly pigmented where it turned my foundation a grayish color over it, but not too sheer where it did not eliminate any redness. The formula was the same for both correcting pens, so it really comes down to skin tone! I received these products complimentary, but all of my opinions are my own entirely.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Takes quite a few turns to get he product out at first, but to be expected with new product. It also took me a few tries to figure out what amount was best to both cover my blemishes/dark circles well, but also not show through when covered with concealed and foundation. I did notice a difference in color correction and use the orange pen most when I notice especially dark circles under my eyes. Just be careful that you don't use too much product or your face will look orange under concealer! Based on that, I think the product could be thinner or lighter in pigment, which is why I gave it 3 stars. But it does help color correct if used properly!
Regret this purchase. Complete waste of money. Turning the end cap about 20 times releases the product but far too much product seeps out which is wasteful. You cannot easily control the volume out. Also expect to wait for the product to start seeping out the application side. Traditional style lipstick type applicator is far superior.
Product is pretty dark for light skin. Beside that my order was for a 3 pack the vendor sent me 1!!!! Going to try to get a refund from Walmart because the vendor hasn't responded to my email.
I've tried blue and yellow color correcters on my dark undereye circles with poor results, so when I saw this apricot color touted as a camouflage, I thought maybe someone had finally come up with an answer. I should have known better. It looked like I had a three-day-old black eye.
I bought this in the apricot shade. It was completely sealed when I bought it. I opened it up and started turning and no product came out. After turning the bottom for about 5 minutes, I got so frustrated that I cut open the entire tube and there was literally no product inside. has this ever happened to anyone before?? This is not an exaggeration! I attached a photo so you can see what I'm talking about.
