Maybelline TattooStudio Waterproof Eyebrow Gel Makeup, Chocolate Brown

This is my go-to! I don't have eyebrows, so this is a lifesaver! It takes a little practice not to get it too dark, but I've had years of experience with this product! I order it and try to make sure I never run out! I've used it for a few years and highly recommend it!

I just bought this today and thought I'd try it straight away. I found it pretty good, easy to apply and the result was good. I didn't end up with Bozo the clown eyebrows like I did when I had my eyebrows temporarily tattooed last year. I watched the demos but saw that everyone took the gel off from the end, I followed the instructions and took it off from the start of my eyebrow, not a problem, no hairs removed. I think it would be a lot better with a more pointed brush to get the tail at the end as I found the brush a bit too thick to achieve desired look.

I was really excited to try this product and my first impression was good, it felt fine on my brows while I was waiting and did it's job of coloring my eyebrows well. So on first impression I was impressed. But then on day two they started to turned orange. I didn't have any products on my skin that might have caused this so it's definitely from the tattoo brow product. So I am not happy about this product and would not recommend it until Maybelline finds a way to fix this. Orange eyebrows is a hard look to pull.

I have been buying this product for the past 2 years and it's been great…. until now. The last three I have bought (from different stores) have all turned my eyebrows and skin green! And it takes days to come off. I thought it was just a bad batch, so I bought a new one, same result. I bought another, same result. What have you done to your formula to make it suddenly start showing up green? Really very unimpressed and now out of pocket for products that I can't use.

I used to use this constantly like 5 years ago and the result was amazing. But after I restart using this again in 2023, every single time it turns my eyebrows deep green color. Completely GREEN, like Nori of Sushi. I've just tried again in 2026 and still GREEN. I've been wondering what's wrong with this products? There seems to be a bunch of complaints which insist exactly same thing. GREEN eyebrows. Since this used to be a really good product, I hope Maybelline would sort this out soon.

I tried this at least 4 times and its impossible to remove. It is ripping out my eyebrow hairs and still wouldnt budge with make up remover, cleanser, even orange oil after I got desperate! I tried it on clean, dry skin elsewhere to test and theres no tinting/staining at all. My eyebrows are so sore :(

I recently purchased the Tattoo Brow 3 Day Gel-Tint and was initially impressed with the product. The consistency was great, and it was very easy to apply and peel off. Unfortunately, the colour was a major disappointment. The product appeared noticeably green and, once removed, left a very orange tint on my skin rather than the natural brow colour I was expecting. While I loved the formula and ease of use, the colour result was far from what was advertised and did not suit my brows at all.

I messaged the seller and asked if they were going to get a specific color in stock, and they never responded so I ended up buying what i was hoping was a close color. It ended up not even mattering at all. I hate that I spent this much on a single product and then when we opened the tube, it was like the makeup was so old it was dried out and I couldn't get any product on the brush. 0/10 do not buy

The brush head is not fine enough for precision and the gel is too thick. Problem is it dries to quickly so you don't have enough time to be precise with the shaping. It is already gluggy and becomes worse as you apply it. It clumps in your brow hairs. If you manage to get a good effect, it only lasts a day because the dark brown becomes too red on the seond day. I use a lash/brow tint. It stains the skins which fades over two days but the hair takes longer to fade. I might as well keep using it. Maybe I would only recommend this to ladies with absolutely no eyebrows

I used it according to the time on the box. It did last a really long time.. however, the second day it had already faded to a disgusting orange colour. The colour I had was medium brown. Unfortunately before that I was super impressed but I was not keen on having orange brows
