Maybelline Volum' Express The Colossal Waterproof Mascara, Classic Black [241] 0.27 oz

I started using this mascara about 5 years ago with a coupon I had and it is now the only kind I use! I absolutely love the brush applicator, it goes on smooth and it is actually water proof! I use lotion to remove rather than soap. It is affordable and I look fresh all day :) I do use a lash primer that keeps my lashes rejuvenated and helps the application last through the day.

I had this mascara for almost every school dance in high school it was magnificent. It was the first mascara I refused to share with anyone due to my newfound knowledge of eye germs. 10/10 would recommend.

Recently I grabbed Maybelline Collosal Volume Waterproof Mascara, straying from my normal MK....Today, I had an extremely emotional funeral and not one smudge or smear after an hour of crying. I was so impressed w/this mascara, my new go 2!!!!!

I have been using this product for years. It a was my favorite mascara until recently. I noticed the writing is a different color but didn't think much of it. This new formula does not hold my lashes up. The curl goes away as soon as I apply it just like a water based formula. I love waterproof because the oils keep my lashes curled but this isn't happening anymore. Please change it back to the old one.

Very clumpy and you can only apply one stroke on your lashes unless you want extreme clumpiness.

I was really disappointed with this mascara. Each time I've worn the mascara I've gotten huge black pigment of mascara under my eye by the end of the day. It looks so gross and unprofessional, I'm so disappointed when I come home or go to the bathroom and realize I look like a hot mess because I have huge bits of mascara under my eye--kind of surprising because this is supposed to be waterproof so you'd think the formula would have better wear, but it definitely doesn't!

This has been my go to mascara for the past 15 years (I'm only 30 lol that sounds like a long time) it is the BEST OF THE BEST. Time and time again I've tried other mascaras that get popular either through "hype" or have a lot of good reviews and EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I come back to my Day 1, Colossal mascara as it simply never compares. I love it so much as it really builds up my lashes the highest, thickest, more separated than any other and most importantly, it keeps the curl all day (no need to curl your lashes after applying mascara, which can be damaging). I also love that the removal process is easy and preserves my original lashes. I recently purchased the waterproof version with the new blue writing and noticed that the formula has changed dramatically. My lashes no longer stay curled, which is critical because once they go straight you can't even tell how thick or long they are anymore, therefore defeating the purpose. I don't feel like this is the same product anymore, which after 15 years makes me really sad as I know there is no other mascara like this. Please bring back the old formula that we all know and love. Thank you!

I've used this mascara for years and hate the new formulation. Halfway through the day my eyelashes flatten out and lose their curl - this NEVER happened with the old version. Please bring back the non-hydrofuge version. The old formulation was better than luxury brand mascaras - it was the absolute BEST. I'm so sad I have to find a new go to mascara. :( Maybelline - feel free to Contact me if you have any specific questions.

What did you guys do to the formula!? The new version is terrible. It does not hold the lashes up or thicken the lashes like the old version. Bring back the old!
