While this is a stamped cross stitch pattern, myself, as an experienced cross-stitcher, see no problem whatsoever in sitting down and stitching any of these patterns. The one that I chose is Maydear Girl and Dragon Reading Book. She's a fairy though. I love the fantasy aspect of it all. It's gorgeous! A fairy girl reading a book while sitting astride a lounging dragon. It's just perfect for the book loving, fairies and dragons fantasy world fan, like me. I look forward to completing it and framing it and hanging it on my wall. The overall quality is great, The floss thread seems as good as DMC floss is. The fabric is kinda stiff but I feel that when you get to soak it in water to remove the pattern, when you are through creating it, it will be somewhat softer. In my opinion it is a great buy for the cross-stitch crafter.

Found this very relaxing to do and great way to destress. Cute pattern and easy to do. Found something new get into well worth it and new hobby. Great way get kids to do new hobbies as well.

I was so excited to get this kit. I haven't crossed stitched in tears. I was very overwhelmed when I first opened this kit. I guess I didn't realize how different embroidery would be from basic cross stitching. The kit is very detailed and once I get started I'm sure I'll be able to follow along as the instructions are written for beginners. I'm excited to see how it will turn out.
