Mayfair Benton White Elongated Enameled Wood with Soft Close & Chrome Hinge Toilet Seat

We moved into a new (to us) home and replaced the flimsy plastic seats with these wooden seats. They are heavy, stable and the hinges come in a variety of finishes. They are easily cleaned (with regular cleaning) and hubs installed them easily without too much drama. The price is higher than the plastic seats, but in the world of toilet seats I would say they are moderately priced. The soft close feature is a bonus when the folks in your home like to slam the lids shut.

Easy install metal parts plastic style washer that make sure it doesn't move but protect your porcelain and it does have a plastic break away nut super easy install feels night and day compared to the cheap plastic ones that come with toilets nowadays definitely worth the money going to buy another one soon!!! doesn't shift doesn't move!

I've been using these replacement seats for the past 10 years, they do get small stains after a few years, so I just replace them when that happens. They never shift or move around after you install them, they are a little pricey, but like everything else you get what you pay for. I love them.....

When you order online, be sure you look at the style of seat. Either round or oblong is usually the choice and I made the wrong one.

They upgraded the paint. Closes soft and slowly. Stays tight and doesn't loosen or wiggle. This is the third time I've purchase this item. I replace toilet seats every 1-2 years.

I am absolutely in love with this toilet seat. We have actually purchased five of them now. We added bidets to the toilets in our house and my daughter's house and decided to do an upgrade on the toilet seats as well. This toilet seat is a perfect addition. I love that the seat has the metal hinges. It makes the toilet seat more sturdy. It is a good quality toilet seat with a soft close feature. So I definitely love it and would definitely recommend it.

I've been meaning to purchase an oblong, slow closing toilet lid, and Walmart on line offered the best price for that.

This is the THIRD TIME I have tried to get the product that I ordered. I ordered product %23 1815C. They keep shipping 815Cp. Order was for Elongated seat but they continue to ship Round. This is beyond ridiculous.
